Cervecería Odín — Restaurant in León

There are 2 monuments in León: the cathedral and José. Both have stood the test of time (opened since 1982) and should not be missed.

We initially we there for a couple of drinks. And the drinks were awesome. And they came with free tapas to munch on. And they were outstanding. Better than the ones we had elsewhere. So we ordered more drinks and we ordered more tapas (paid this time) and they were even better than the first ones.

José is engaging, curious, funny, can speak many languages, dynamic and efficient. He is one of those rare, true trailblazer that follow their own paths. He has travelled a lot, he knows what is out there, so he brings out the best of it in his food and drinks - we fell in love with the homemade Vermouth. The kitchen wings were unmatched, the texture was perfect and the taste was balanced. Everything we ordered, without exception, was truly above average.

The food looks rustic but it is actually quite refined, the true look of homemade food based on years of experience.

Shout out also to the quirky decoration : the outside stills looks like an outdated Irish bar but the inside is filled with oddities, flowers and curiosities and we did enjoy his playlist that has a little for everybody.

Thank you José, we spent 3 weeks in Spain and this was one of our favorite pintxos bar experience. Odin is run by a true master of hospitality, efficiency and taste and remains at the top of the bar chain.

The odín is a long established bar in leòn that offers substantial tapas and always throws in an effort like a trickle of caviar or truffle oil or strong cheese. León has always lasted on giving it's clientele a tapa with a drink. It's not only a tradition, an eye -are you hungry- an unspoken... an unsaid... They say Granada is the only other part of Spain with the same mentality... Long story short; the odín is well known for bridging a hunger gap and with its long tradition of giving you a selection of nibbles, Bienvenido a León... Nibbles and yappin and...
