I was in León for three weeks for a study abroad program and this was the ABSOLUTE BEST GELATO shop in all of León. The owner of the shop is extremely accommodating and even spoke English which was extremely kind of him (he is Italian so you also know you’re getting extremely delicious gelato). Was very polite and we had a nice conversation. He speaks both Spanish and English - I assume Italian also since he is from Italy. Perfect balance of sweet and savory, and the texture was spot on. Creamy gelato, crunchy cookie, it just worked. If there’s an option to go with their own baked stuff instead of the store-bought cone, definitely go for it. Totally worth it. Better pay to someone who make it instead of the chain...
