We ate here as a party of 5 and the food was all delicious, we loved the tacos and the boa buns - amazing variety for a restaurant that also serves top notch traditional Spanish food. Still can’t get over the value! €122.50 for five adults and we all left with full bellies. This included eight glasses of wine, four bottles of beer and a vodka and coke, so you could definitely eat cheaper if you wanted to. We got lucky and queued for less than five minutes but some of the tables arriving after us were waiting roughly half an hour…. honestly i’d say it’s worth the wait. Not a bad place to stand in queue in such a gorgeous city but obviously may provide issues for those with accessibility difficulties. Also be prepared to be passed in the queue by any locals that do arrive! Only fair I suppose as I’m sure they support the business all year round and not just during the tourist seasons!

To dive into the world of tapas, Lola is the address par excellence. With fruity rosé glasses, we tried our way through the menu again.: - 1/2 Patatas Bravas - Beef Hamburger McLola - Sandwich Club Casalola * Small Bun Torito Bravo (Rabo de Toro w/ goat cheese& truffle mayo) * Pincho Grilled Iberian boneless shoulder (w/ parmesan, red pesto) - Galician Octopus - Pincho Carpaccio of Octopus * Small Bun Smoked Salmon (w/ dill) - Pincho Tuna Tatar - Small Bun Canario (grilled loin) * Small Bun Africanito (pork filet) All tapas/menus were very tasty, individual ones of course stood out (marked with a star). The only downside to Lola is that you can't make reservations. In the evening, if you arrive at 9ish you have to expect to wait up to 30 minutes for a table. Definitely worth waiting for, but you shouldn't be too hungry already.

Casa Lola in Malaga offers a mixed dining experience. The fried aubergines were impressively juicy, though the sauce was a tad too sweet. The Sandwich Club Casa Lola, unfortunately, came out a bit dry. The spinach and oxtail croquettes stood out, especially the oxtail, which we highly recommend. The pickled mussels, while tasty, felt a bit overpriced at €3 for just two mussels, although this was clearly indicated on the menu. The Russian salad was another highlight, also recommended. Service was acceptable. The restaurant's decor is charming and the location is excellent, making it a decent spot for a casual meal.

We went to the branch next to the cathedral, arrived about 1330 on a Monday, got a table no problem. It got super busy about 1430 but there is a turnover. The food is ok. The little brioche Toro was the best and the tomato salad was great. The quails egg morcilla pichos was also good. Chorizo bites very good. The tortilla camerones was just a deep fried oily mess... Not pleasant at all. Very little taste to it. Service is difficult, hard to get served, hard to order more tapas, generally a bit unpleasant. Once lady was very friendly, everyone else made it a bit unpleasant. Decent vermouth

This was the first restaurant we hit up in Malaga, and it was absolutely amazing! The tapas were super tasty, and the beers came out fast, which we loved. We tried a bunch of tapas from the menu! Everything was spot on, but I have to say, the Iberian boneless shoulder with Parmesan and that special red pesto totally stole the show for me. My partner, on the other hand, couldn’t get enough of the pork ribs bao bun. Overall, this place kicked off our Malaga trip perfectly, with delicious food and quick service. Definitely worth a visit if you’re in town! ☺️

Tapas are super delicious and unique! Had the pil pil shrimp and this was very tasty. Use the bread to get all of the sauce. The grilled mushrooms with shrimp and ham was my favorite dish. My partner enjoyed the t bone hamburger with cheese. We got the seasoned tomatoes as I learned this area is known for their tomatoes, olive oil and sea salt. Waited In a short line at this location. The other location had a long line. They seated us outside at the entrance. I think we advertised their food well. Will come again some day.
