Er Pichi de Cái Huelin — Restaurant in Málaga

We came to this restaurant for dinner after reading Google & TripAdvisor reviews, but unfortunately, the experience was disappointing from the start. The seating options in the dining area were both uncomfortable: tables that were too low, making it awkward to eat while leaning down, and barrel tables with high bar stools that were equally impractical.

We ordered zambrinos, which were decently prepared. However, the rest of the meal was a letdown. The tuna was simply dumped out of a can and served with unappetizing, overcooked vegetables. The octopus was burnt and swimming in oil. The octopus legs were overcooked, smelled burnt, and tasted dry with a charred aftertaste. The only things that were decent were the wine, the water, and these zambrinos.

The food is still amazing but sadly the waiter on the night decided to take advantage of a tourist on her own. He kept pushing the large tuna, at 25euro a plate. Way too big for one person! I have been once, never again. I expected it to be nice, but it didn't happen. The waitress ignored us for more than half an hour, when someone else asked him to come to take our orders, he didn't have anything available from what we wanted.
