We stopped for a glass of wine and some tapas. At first, everything seemed fine, they checked our covid passes (which we appreciated), our waiter was very professional and helpful. But then, without any reason, a rude woman took his place and started to wait (serve) us. We think she was some kind of boss there because she was telling other waiters what to do and just making a mess. Then she was rude to us about our order - she was basically laughing at us for ordering a "small" meal and trying to persuade us in ordering something else, bigger, more expensive, even though we repeatedly told her that we are happy with something of a snack size - we weren't there for a dinner. She was absolutely unprofessional, she was speaking English but with very heavy accent and when she didn't understand that someone can be happy with a small portion she started to laugh at us that we didn't understand because of a language barrier. Overall, we recommend this place only if this lady doesn't mix in others waiters' job and minds her own business. Very disappointed by her...
Read moreWe made an online reservation for a specific time, but unfortunately, when we arrived, there was no table available. The waiter told us to wait 10–15 minutes, but we ended up standing for 35 minutes before finally deciding to leave. The next day we tried again without a reservation — we still had to wait a bit. It seems they have some difficulty seating groups of five people.
As for the food, the experience was mixed. The grilled octopus was really delicious, and the baby squid were also good, though part of the dish was too salty while another part lacked seasoning. The paella was, unfortunately, the first one in Spain that I didn’t enjoy — the shrimp were unpleasant, and the rice was just average. For the first time, I couldn’t finish my paella, so I wouldn’t recommend it. The tuna tataki was also rather underwhelming.
On a positive note, the waitress kindly brought us a complimentary piece of cake — it was delicious and left a nice...
Read moreStumbled upon this place on a Friday night during our 1-night stay in Malaga during the eve of Feria de Malaga. It was our first time to Malaga so exploring the centre took some time especially during dinner time before finally deciding on this tapas restaurant (which we were lucky to spot an empty table at 11pm). The entire square was crowded and this place as well but the waitress was very prompt in terms of taking orders and serving food. They serve an array of Spanish tapas but with a very unique twist of their own. Our personal favourite had to be the empanadas, so tasty that we ordered another! Their beer was also served cold which was a plus point during summer weather like these. They have available seatings both outside and inside. Love the overall modern-Andalusian interior of the restaurant. Price is reasonable at average 15-18 euros per pax and would definitely recommend anyone within the...
