The restaurant itself is located directly at the harbor and offers a charming outdoor terrace with a picturesque view. There are large menus outside the restaurant that guests can peruse before entering. During our visit on January 1st 2024 (two women and two men), we checked out the menu. Despite the restaurant being less than a quarter full, we decided to sit in a sheltered outdoor area. However, we were stopped by a staff member, an Indian man, who rudely informed us that we couldn't sit there. When asked why, he simply stated that "he decides" where we sit, not us. While we are aware that this is common practice in good restaurants, his manner was unfriendly and unwelcoming. If our group hadn't been so hungry and if we hadn't been searching for a restaurant for a while, I probably wouldn't have chosen to stay after such an unfriendly remark from this person. Anyway, after being seated, other waiters, all of whom were very nice and polite, attended to us. The food took quite a while to arrive, but it was overall average to good; certainly not bad. The prices were reasonable, perhaps slightly higher than average. When we paid and left, I wanted to give a constructive feedback to the Indian staff member near the menus and point out that while the food was fine and the waiters were all very nice, his behavior was unprofessional in how he ordered us around. Unfortunately, he responded very unprofessionally, stating that it was "our problem, not his" . Just because of this one staff member, I wouldn't set foot in this restaurant again. Additional information: the two restaurants to the left of this one are also part of the same...
Read moreThe restaurant has an okay location, overseeing the marina, I guess this is why they are still in business because the place is packed, BUT, the service is just terrible, and the food is mediocre/bad.
We ordered a pizza and ribs for our kids, but we said that before we receive it, we would like a plate of nachos to share, and then afterwards, we would like a T-bone steak for 2 persons to share, medium rare. The waitress seemed to understand what we were saying, but I guess she some how messed it all up. So, here we go, in comes the pizza and the spare ribs like 3 minutes after ordering, even though we told them to bring the nachos first.
We wait an hour before the T-bone steak comes, and it is ice cold, well done, and tastes awful. I don’t know what kind of meat this was, but it was a straight up scam, this was never a t-bone steak to begin with. And they even call them selves a steak house. Pathetic! Also the T-bone steak was 55 euros, but is tasted like left over pieces from the floor.
And to top it all of, the nachos never came, but they still put it on the bill.
When we told the waitress that we are not going to pay for the nachos, because it never came, she tells us that we can have 2 shots on the house… WHAT ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT, I have to small kids with me who have been sitting here for an hour, and you serve me ice cold meat leftovers, and now you offer me shots?
We paid and left, feeling scammed. I’m sure that most people will feel that they had an ok experience, but just be warned, don’t order from the steak house they have no clue what so ever about what...
Read moreWhy do I even bother giving this 2 stars? First things first: we got to eat here because we were offered a 10% discount and we had to choose between 3 restaurants. Our random choice fell on this one. Everything is overpriced. Let's say about 50% higher than other parts of town frequented by tourists. This kind of makes sense since it is right in the most popular tourist spot. Service is awful. There are more waiters assigned to lure in tourists than to actually serve the tables. They forgot to bring all the drinks we ordered. Food was served late (30 min). When the check came, it was not for our table and it took forever for them to bring the right one. The food is just bad. We had the Chicken Kebabs (Greek style). For 15 € / serving they brought us 200g badly seasoned fried chicken, one small (10-12 cm) pita bread which was cold, not more than 50 g of Tzatziki sauce and about the same amount of salad. That was just stupidly disrespectful. Why skimp on salad and sauce? How does that make sense... We wanted some desert but after the main dish we decided to leave asap and get ice cream instead 😊 Honestly... I really can't figure out how this place got such good reviews here. It just proves to me that the fancyer a place is the worse the service and food. Thanks for reading....
