To begin, I do not often write google reviews but when faced with such provocation, I could not resist the urge.
I was in Malaga for a friends birthday and he had decided he wanted to go for a steak dinner and “ANGUS” was the end choice.
Firstly, the place was colder than the depths of hell themselves. Although being a masochist, I sat uncomfortably in a t shirt shivering but I do not appreciate being enabled so maliciously and for profit.
Once we ordered drinks, we waited an epoch for them to arrive and were disappointed that half of us had finished our drinks before the other’s had arrived. There was a thick black smoke in the air from the camaraderie set ablaze in front of me, thoroughly illuminated by the surgical lighting.
I ordered the “warm cheese salad” to start. It is described as containing pomegranate but when it arrived I found that there was no pomegranate. Instead I was greeted by bruised overly ripe strawberries scattered across my plate, accompanied by a mound of nearly brown lettuce and a squished cylinder of not quite melted Camembert that had then cooled and become congealed and garnished with a roll of plain filo pastry placed on top.
After a stark beginning, I was veracious because I had barely touched my starter and despite the instinct to bend towards pessimism, I held out hope that surely the place named “ANGUS” must have good steak. I ordered a 500g rib eye, medium rare with french fries and onion rings and honestly it was probably the worst use of €60 in my entire life. The steak itself was sub par and whoever cooked it obviously hadn’t read the menu I ordered it from because then they would have seen the infographic that was printed, they would have known that they had cooked me a rare steak.
Finally, although the temptation to continue this diatribe is powerful, I will simply say if this restaurant was a person, I would call them a dirty charlatan and a liar.
Thank you for...

Had recently visited sister restaurant in Benalmadena and enjoyed amongst other delights the substantial mollejas. Unfortunately the same can not be said of this outlet. 1 Wrong wine served- twice 2 Hot blood sausage served still chilled in centre (accompanying thiner sauce served cooked through) perhaps thinner sausage takes longer on the grill? 3 The uncooked sausage was bitten in half to discover not cooked through (this same piece was again served after further time on the grill) 4 Ordered a steak....completely wrong cut of steak served. 5 Mollejas ordered ( expected similar to Benalmadena outlet) not so, this is a favourite and have sampled all over Sth America it looked as if they had not enough mollejas for a portion so cut up what they had into around 15 pieces each being 10mm or less, subsequently when grilled they were charred and over cooked. 6 Ladies rest room - No soap, No toilet paper, No paper towels. 7 Mens rest room No paper towels, Hand drier out of order (time 19:15 hrs approx).
This may also explain why the Grillardin (grill chef) decided not to wash his hands after attending to calls of nature and proceeded to the grill and preparing food! it is fair to say he used barbecue thongs for turning the meat on the grill and only used his hands for transferring fresh items to the griddle.......well the outside will be charred and any bugs also ??? right!
The kitchen cooking area (Chefs) domain..... it was apparent had been cleaned .....maybe a week or so previously!
the customer facing staff were clearly embarrassed when such matters were drawn to their attention, No maitre de /manager/ supervisor was available to discuss the observations...
Read moreWhat a find!!!! Near the end of the marina, towards the light house and opposite the super yatch.
We assumed the restaurants along that way would be expensive but they are reaso ably priced and of a high standard.
The boyfriend really wanted a steak and we stumbled upon Angus. So pleased we did. It was a colder evening and extremely windy. They have a section of the outdoor seating which they have semi enclosed and they provided heaters for all the tables so it was actually a pleasant area to be seated.
The food was IMMENSE!!!! I had the BBQ baby back ribs, I was served 12 ribs, with a large portion of chips for €17 BARGAIN. The Rib Eye steak was 300g and €29 euro. My boyfriend said it was the best steak he had ever had (he's had quite a few ha) which is high praise.
The waiting staff were all very friendly and service was quick. Highly recommend 👌 if we had more time here I have no doubt we would of been back a couple of times.
If we have the luxury of returning to Malaga, I guarantee this will be one of the first places...
