Popeyes Famous Louisiana Chicken — Restaurant in Málaga

I really love Popeye, but unless you want to deal with mediocreness avoid this place. It took more than one hour to prepare two burgers with raw chicken.

After realizing about their delay, I asked what was wrong, and they said the order disappeared "magicly" from their system, and then that they were not sure if I paid (even after showing the receipt and wasting my time seeing their faces in front of the cashier place while waiting).

In the aftermath of the order confusion, they rushed-in to prepare the food, however presentation and service confirmed how bad they are at everything. The chicken was raw, quite pink-like, and burgers were delivered upside down with most of the ingredients out of place.

With the first bite, I noticed it was raw. So, seen such disaster I decided to proceed to ask for a complaint sheet. They've made me wait (again) for a claiming sheet to file the complaint.

Never tried to negotiate, nor at least a simple "we sorry" was offered.

Worst people on the job Saturday 9/8/2025 19.12. We had to reorder 5 times, because they couldn’t get the order right. And when we tried to tell them just igennem ignored us, they said some things in Spanish, that we couldn’t understand. The people around just laughed at what she said, like making fun of us, like cuss word. We ordered a salad without “BACON” but kept getting it wrong, we up several times to tell. And every time we got it, we couldn’t see the bacon, because she just pushed it to the bottom. The one worker who was a pain, who was making fun of the us the “costumer”. She was a big and tall worker, and the other was with laughing at us, she had black/dark hair. As you can see in the last picture, you can see the bacon pushed...

The food was decent quality, but served cold (we ate in the restaurant; this wasn't takeaway) but my biggest issue is with the drinks machine. Awkward to use (you have to scan a code and it doesn't always work) and then my sprite came out brown! Tried again, and it was even browner. I can see from the reviews that I'm not the first to experience this.

I told the staff, thinking they might offer me something else, but they didn't care.

That same attitude is shown in the generic replies to reviews. I expect a reply to this that has no relation or acknowledgement of what's been said. They clearly don't care. I'd be surprised if this outlet lasts...
