I have ordered one of their milkshakes. I drank half of it and noticed small orange pieces of plastic floating inside. There were many and I highly likely consumed some of it. I brought this up to attention of one of the waitresses who could Only offer us a new one free of charge. Obviously I declined not really fancying to eat any more plastic. The waitress left and that was it. She brought us the bill after a while and we noticed it included the milkshake in it. I advised the waitress I do not feel comfortable for paying for this and this resulted in chaos behind the kitchen. Another waitress came up and tried to tell us we shouldve told them about the plastic earlier!!! WHAT?? Why anyone on earth Would be looking through their food before they consume it for small pieces of plastic. It was not visible at first as the glass was cold and frosty and there was whipped cream on top… i explained this all and they settled on Me paying for half of the milkshake considering I drunk half before noticing plastic. Horroble, horrible and horrible treatment. I probably shouldve sued them for it. You can see in the photos the Orange parts are hard...

Edit summer 2022: Surprised to find out that the quality of one of the best places in Malaga is not as it was: portion sizes have decreased, some of the sandwiches are not that good. The solo in this Bella Julieta was not as good as I remember it (lucky I tried it at another one and it is still good there). The traditional tostada is nice. Hope we won't be more disappointed next year! 2021: The place you visit the first day when you come back to Malaga. And every day of your summer holiday. Here you'll find the best solo coffee in Malaga by far. Tasty sandwiches. The must have is the Italian sandwich with salmon and avocado. Amazing place that everyone who adores coffee would love to visit. Big 👏 for the owners and friendly staff working here. The ambient here is just lovely! Thanks for making better every visit of Malaga. Wish there was la Bella Julieta...

Really bad experience. After waiting in the queue to order to take in, I was told they were taking note at the tables directly. Then, after having waited for 10 minutes the waitress goes to a table that arrived after us I ask her if she could take our order. She nodded but said she would first clean our table. After cleaning it she goes on to another table to get their order without taking ours!!! Then, I get her attention (once again) and she agreed to take my order “now”, but again goes to a different table that also arrived after us, so we were kept waiting for another 10 minutes. In the end we left as it was ridiculous and it was taking ages for the other tables to get their food. A shame because we heard really nice things about the place, but the staff is destroying...

Update: the new size of the focaccia sandwich ( see new picture). Portions decreased in size while popularity goes up. This was one of my favorite places, would go there almost daily for breakfast and coffee. I would choose the focaccia with butter and jam and a café con leche. Unfortunately they changed the menu recently and the vibe is not the same. The staff is very nice and polite, they speak English too, the atmosphere is a bit cold due to the interrupt design but unique in its own way. I recommend trying it out.
