AVOID THIS PLACE. RUDE STAFF AND BAD FOOD.

Stale complimentary crisps provided with drinks. 3 simple drinks ordered 1 forgotten and 1 wrong. Ordered - 1 medium steak (delivered blue/raw) 1 medium burger (delivered blue/raw) 1 fish kebab (ok but small and v expensive) Steak sent back and asked for it be cooked a little more. Waiter was very rude and it was returned slammed on the table in front of my wife having been chopped into pieces and incinerated. No apologies given. We then noticed that my sons burger was raw in the middle and pointed this out to the waiter, who advised that my son had eaten most of it. He had taken 2 bites! It was eventually removed from the bill after further complaint with no apology. Very unpleasant experience all round and the rudest waiting staff I have ever come across.

Over the course of our 45 minute experience we had 3 different waiting staff all were rude so this wasn’t a problem with one staff member and is clearly a culture in the restaurant.

Excellent restaurant completely underrated on Google. We went there expecting a 4.0/5 on google rating and were completely blown away by the quality and refinement of the food. We took the mussels and scallops that were honestly ones of the best I ever had, and definitely tasting better than similar dishes several time the price in adjacent restaurants. As mains, the tuna was a délice, with wasabi chocolate sauce and grilled pistachios, way more refined than expected although among the most expensive main on the menu (26€ I believe) quite a great bargain for the quality of the meal in the end. The service was also lovely, with our waiters taking the time to make personalized recommendations, accommodating for edits on the cooking of the dishes, with a great smile and really making the extra effort to build a connection and make you feel great. Maybe we hit on a bad time and bad day.. Monday at around 3 pm .. but the two girls serving us seemed offish and almost resentful we were there! The food was ok my mother though had a “latitude salad “that wasn’t at all as described and very unimaginative.My Quinoa salad was very small for around 11 Euro’s The position is what you are paying for now. It used to be a great fun buzzing smaller place that was packed to the gunnels with an interesting crowd ....not anymore. ..It’s the same as all the other overpriced port front...
