I’ve been craving paella during our stay in Ciutadella but never got the chance to have it. On our last day in Menorca, we stumbled upon this gem near the port. What a blessing to our cravings!
We first visited in the morning and had a delicious salmon baguette and cappuccino for breakfast. The portions were generous, and the flavours were spot on, which only made us more excited for what was to come. That’s when we learned that paella is only served between 1-5 PM and requires a reservation. Without hesitation, we booked a table for a late lunch at 3 PM.
Oh my! When the mixed seafood paella arrived, it was hands down the best we’ve ever had! The owner, originally from Valencia, took the time to explain the proper way to enjoy it, adding to the authenticity of the experience. Every bite was bursting with rich, deep flavours that made us savour every moment.
Beyond the incredible food, the hospitality was exceptional. The owner/server was warm, accommodating, and made us feel right at home. This meal truly completed our trip, it was the perfect ending! Writing this is making me drool all over again.
If you’re in Menorca, this is a must-visit spot. Can’t wait...
Read moreWhat an incredible find! My son wanted to try paella in Spain and after several failed attempts at other restaurants, trusty Google maps led us here. Both the chef and server are from Valencia so that was an extra treat! I know good paella takes time and was sure to get my order in for that first before even getting any drinks. After we ordered the paella, we got some drinks, plus our server even made a "faux-jito" for our son. The paella was amazing, and we did not miss a single grain. But even more amazing was the service; even though our server Cinny was by herself, she constantly checked on us and made sure we always had everything we needed. Lovely place to linger and one of the highlights...
Read moreThe worst restaurant I ever been. We waited 2 hours to have the food served to us and it was not busy at all. Literally they are running with minimum staff. The food was terrible. Sangria was just ice, the squid wad squishy and oily, mussels with curry below average. The service is the worst, terrible waiting, no apologies just 10 olives as a grace. The lady was very patronising with her employer and one person running the kitchen. Plus smoking was allowed in the terrace while everyone is eating. I can't remember being in a...
