Restaurant Pizzeria Casanova — Restaurant in Maó

I went here with my girlfriend on an October evening around 20.30 and found this place to be completely empty of any diners. Having read the reviews about this place I found this quite surprising but we decided to give it a go and asked the waitress for a table. Sure enough after a short while of looking through the menu two other groups made their way in to the restaurant so we didn't feel quite on our own. The waitress was friendly and atentative and took our order. Within minutes we were served our wine and entrees of bread with a tomato and olive oil dressing which were compliments of the house. I ordered a ham and mushroom pizza while my partner had the vegetarian cannelloni. The pizza was excellent, the ham succulent and the mushrooms had a nice earthy taste without being too overpowering with a thin crispy base that was flavoursome and beyond being just a bland dough. My partner's cannelloni was equally tasty, we finished off with a tiramisu to share which we were reliably informed was made in house and certainly had the look and taste of being homemade. Overall our experience was one of delivering good quality food although I couldn't quite understand why the restaurant was so underwhelmingly quiet even for being low season. I went there with my boyfriend in October. We shared a bottle of chardonnay and I had the vegetarian canelloni and my boyfriend had a pizza with boiled ham and mushroom. While we were looking at the menu, we were given some complementary entrée (toast with tomatoes and olive oil), which was a nice touch. Once we had ordered, it didn't take too long for the food to come out. Both dishes were excellent, flavoursome, good portions, and we ate it all. I had home made tiramisu to finish which was delicious. The waitress then gave us complementary limoncello, which was very refreshing and a nice way to finish a lovely enjoyable evening. The waitress was really good, helpful and friendly. We arrived at 8.30, however, and were the only ones there until a group of 4 and a couple arrived shortly afterwards. Una experiència para olvidar nada recomendable trato grosero e insultante por parte del (pizzero) por decir algo Llegamos a las 20:30 para cenar unas pizzas o pasta después de una hora y cuarto le pregunté a la camarera que como era que aún no nos habían servido si todas las mesas que habían llegado mucho más tarde que nosotros ya están comiendo o incluso ya habían terminado .le comenté que teníamos prisa que por eso habíamos reservado tan pronto ya que teníamos un vuelo y lo podíamos perder.la camarera le preguntó el pizzero por la comanda de nuestra mesa y el personaje en cuestión se dio cuenta que se le había pasado por completo.yo le comento que tengo prisa y me contestó de muy malas maneras incluso chillando le dije que yo no tenía la culpa de su fallo pero que tenia prisa entonces se puso manos a la obra y como le dije que me iba nos sacó las pizzas si, pero con la masa cruda le pedimos la cuenta y la camarera insiste en que tomamos café o postre yo le digo que no que tengo prisa pero me dice que lo trae en seguida y al final le digo que vale la sorpresa final es que trae la cuenta y están todos los cafés incluidos y le digo que falta un café lo trae y con el una nueva cuenta sumando el último café. vergonzoso, patético después de la tremenda cagada del personaje y de la camarera encima nos cobran los cafés que no hubiésemos tomado a no ser por la insistencia de la dicha camarera en fin no se lo recomiendo ni al peor de...
