I spent the last three months in Madrid with my family and we had breakfast and lunch at this amazing place almost every day. Not only the menu is very traditional and affordable but the food is delicious and makes you feel like you’re eating at someone’s house. What is most special of this restaurant is their people. When you step in David behind the bar and Pablo will welcome you like someone they already know and is already a friend. If I could give 0 stars, I would. This restaurant sat us at a table and gave us the menu but nobody came to ask our order for 30 minutes whereas they asked all other tables around them. Multiple times we were told a waiter would be right with us. We waited for 45 minutes before we overheard them tell another table they were closing soon (they didn’t even have the courtesy to tell us!). Our waiter never came to the table either. Seemed like a local spot for affordable lunch in a rather expensive area. My friends and I ordered grilled steak, grilled chicken and spaghetti bolognese. The chicken was good, similar to a very good rotisserie with great fries. But the pasta was overcooked, sauce similar to Prego. The steak was overcooked and very chewy.
