Bar Kárdamom — Restaurant in Madrid

Nicely located cafe, very good guacamole. However, our experience was totally ruined when I saw how sangria was made! They mix sugar, fanta, and some liquid (which is supposed to be wine, but I am not sure). When the waiter brought it to us, the layers of these ingredients were not even mixed... On our comment that it is not sangria, we received the answer: "ok, what do you want to drink?"... I mean, why do you need to have this cheating to your customers? Don't put a drink which you do not serve into...

We had a wonderful lunch here. They have menus in Spanish and English, and a really nice outdoor seating area. We stared with cappuccinos, which were excellent, then had the veggie quesadillas and seafood paella. Both were excellent. The menu is very diverse - everything from paella to Mexican, Indian, and Italian-inspired items. It is located on a pretty quiet street, which was really nice after a very long, hectic travel day. I highly recommend...

No han querido servirnos desayuno por 3 minutos. Las 12.03 del mediodía. Hemos desayunado de carta, comida congelada de muy mala calidad con precios elevados. Han tirado a una mesa de un par de chicas que estaban sentadas en la mesa de al lado por sólo querer tomar café, sin comer nada. Se nos ha caído un café y ni han venido a limpiarlo ni han ofrecido reponerlo. Local sin alma, y que por lo que leo en el ticket los dueños son una inmobiliaria, ni siquiera es de gente que se dedique a la hostelería. Entiendo porque la calidad de la comida deja tanto que desear. Sacadineros por tener terraza. Hasta la carta por QR está llena de publicidad que te hace imposible navegar por ella. Sólo quieren tu dinero sin importarles ni calidad, ni servicio ni tampoco que vuelvas. Viendo la gente que había se nutren de gente de fuera que están por el barrio o tomando un descanso cerca del Reina Sofía. Madrid no es esto. Qué pena que gente de fuera se quede con la impresión de un sitio así como representativo de Madrid. No volveré a dar mi dinero en...
