El Campesino Brunch & Burger — Restaurant in Madrid

I ordered the crispy chicken sandwich and the chicken was not flavorful at all. Moreover the bartender/server left the bathroom without washing his hands. Additionally, he provided very poor service even though the restaurant was practically empty. I was there with my sister and there was another couple who were already eating. I wouldn't go back here for the mere fact that staff does not wash their hands!!! The only positive is that I like the setup of the restaurant.

Edit: I saw the bartender/server walk out of the bathroom without washing hands as I heard the toilet flush and the next second, the bartender opened the single restroom door on the bottom level which I was standing by. It was pretty obvious the bartender didn't wash his hands and I strongly do not recommend dining here for...

Horrible customer service. Walked in with two kids in tow and waiter ignored us and sat chatting with who seemed like his friend. Go across the street to SteakBurger instead.

Response: Will not participate in the he-said she-said, but i will respond once. Isn't that shameful? This is a prime example of the service you will receive here. The restaurant closing in 45 minutes is not a reason to ignore customers who walk through the door. Instead of responding, we were told to set our own table by putting two dirty tables together, which ordinarily would not even have been an issue if we did not have our hands full with our children. Burger shop next door treated us better and the food was great. Glad to have spent our money...

We had breakfast at this spot, very tasty and delicious. Had been craving and english breakfast and it really hit the spot. The smoothies we tasted were also very good!! Highly recommend the yellow smoothie. Friendly staff when serving you.

Not giving 5 stars for a few attentions to details. The table and cushions were a little bit dirty and when my knife fell and I tried to make eye contact with the waitress to get a new one, she was on her phone and the table next to us (the only other table in there) realised and gave me his not used knife.
