Cervecería Restaurante Quevedo — Restaurant in Madrid

We just arrived in Madrid, in the beautiful Las Letras neighborhood. Our first stop was at Cerveceria Quevedo. We were slow to wander in as the bar looked full but were greeted by the bartender. Plenty of seating in the back. Our wonderful server was Gina. She gave us great recommendations on the raciones, the wine, And of course, dessert. Great food and service at a very casual neighborhood restaurant. The menu had all the local comfort food we were craving after a long flight from California. We were lucky enough to run across Cervecería Restaurante Quevedo. We had had many hours at The Prado museum, so we were looking for a place to sit down and relax. This was the perfect choice! We had our first paella of the trip, and it was fantastic! We are all after 'authentic', 'home made' etc., well at least I am 🤔. This small place offers exactly that - most simple food you can imagine - no fancy dishes or elaborate descriptions but the food will remind you what the fresh food actually tastes like.
