I would recommend other branch of La Mucca.
The good things:
♡ Free shots offered due to a long wait ♡ There was one waitress who was attentive even though we were not the table she took order directly. ♡ Patatas bravas was good. ♡ Price was cheap. We paid abut 140 Euros for 6 people including wine.
What can be improved:
"Flexibility of staff"
》 We booked a table for 6 at 20.30 hrs, already arrived at 20.37 hrs but the table was still unavailable. We waited for 15 minutes to be seated.
There was another table with a reserved sign on, that still available, so we asked if it's okay if we got seated there as the other group hasn't arrived. The receptionist just declined and asked us to continue waiting. At least he offered free shots aa service recovery.
》 During our time there, we wanted to order something more. One waiter with glasses saw us and pointed to another waiter to signal that we should only call the other waiter who took our order.
》 Free shots took forever to arrive. We gotta kept asking for 2 - 3 times.
As a woman growing up in a restaurant business, I could see the point about assigning each waiter / waitress to take care of their own tables. However, flexibility and teamwork would be a good thing in the situation which there were full occupancy, especially during festive seasons.
Overall, I would prefer to go to other La Mucca. The service here needs a lot of...
Read moreFirst of all, the food and cocktails were good, just like a location and atmosphere in general. The problem is that we called to book for a big group of people, we were 15. The manager told us that they don’t usually book for big groups like this, but they gonna make an exception, they also told that normally it’s 1,5 h but they will make it 2 h for us. We booked for 8 pm. By 8.50 no one still took the order, we only had drinks (not even all of us). At 9.15 one of the managers came to talk to us asking: “do you know that you’re supposed to leave by 10?” And I said yes, but I also mentioned that no one came to take the order until 8.50-8.55, and he was asking questions like so no one came to ask? I said no and asked how do they expect us to finish our food in time if it took them almost and hour just to ask what do we want to eat. Then the manager couldn’t come up with a better idea than telling me that he’s being more than nice and polite with me and I’m being disrespectful. Brilliant service. And the cherry on top was when they told a girl from our group that we still need to pay 70 euros from our bill, while the last person paying asked a waitress if the bill was fully paid and she...
Read moreReading other reviews, I had great expectations and now wonder if other reviewers ever had eaten at really good restaurants? Waited 15 min at the bar before I was seated. I ordered a Mediterranean salad which had no semblance to what it should’ve been. Apart from some Roman lettuce and tomatoes it was a bowl of chickpeas . Following this theme I ordered a pizza with Serrano ham. Perhaps having had pizza in Italy, my expectations should’ve been lower. Basically a white pizza with little flavour but at least they did not skimp on the ham. The prices were also not that cheap compared to other restaurants that I’ve eaten at in the neighbourhood. I nearly forgot to mention how bad are the waiters. Took forever to place my order and when I did ,no clear answers to questions about the various dishes. Not once was I asked about my food . This truly is a mark of bad service as even in the most pretentious restaurants ,you will have this attention . Even now after 15 min no one is asking if I want the bill or anything else . Oh well🤨 Well this will be first and last time at this place. Too bad , as the ambiance was at least energized by the...
