Where to start 🤤 I’m from NYC and know authentic Dominican food very well. Having lived in Spain for a while now it has been some time since I had truly authentic DR food and man o man this was THE SPOT!!! The cook/owner was so kind and happy to make recommendations. I had the fried 1/2 chicken with tostones, side of white rice and beans. My husband had the sandwich pictured on their menu for which the cook said “would be the best sandwich you will have in Madrid.” FACTS! Portions are large. We had 2 beers, 1 coffee and coke. We ended up spending 60 EUR because we then also ordered another order of rice and beans to take home cause we knew we’d be craving it later. To add to the ambience was my favorite DR music coming from the bar 💃🏻

This Dominican food is INCREDIBLE! It's so good that I'm thinking of a second visit to Madrid just for this food. The flavors, the choices. Wow I should add that I'm very used to excellent Dominican restaurants in NYC and this stands at the level of all of them. The Bocadillo is incredible, chicken is delicious and the rice and beans are worth the trip all by themselves. Must try when in Madrid!

This is a cute little hidden gem in Madrid. The food and service is amazing. We came upon this place by mistake looking for a restroom and ended up coming back to eat and drink. We ordered the pica pollo which was the best I’ve ever had and the owner gave us taste of more plates including the best sancocho. This is by far real authentic dominican food.

We came here late in the evening to get some food. The people where super super nice and even though we didnt speak spanish and they didnt speak english we could communicate and have a nice time. We really enjoyed our time there. The food was really nice, the best we had the whole trip in madrid and the portions were big. We had picata and it was amazing. If we ever go back to Madrid, we’ll definitely will go back...
