This place is absolutely amazing. I came here before while exploring the neighborhood and Luis and the rest of the staff were nothing short of dynamite! Super energetic, fun, outgoing, and welcoming are some of the terms I would use to describe it here. It’s a very friendly atmosphere and the food is AMAAAAAZING! Last time I was here, I had the Tallarines de Pollo and dear heaven, it was delicious AF! Today, I had the Milhojas de Rabo de Toro—-fantastic dish. I don’t thing they have a bad dish here to be honest. If you are in the Quintana or Pueblo Nuevo area, please stop and check this place out. It’s a nice and chill Spanish restaurant/bar. This restaurant is worth the visit We had: The tempura veggies: nice coating, great sauce Caramelos de langostinos: amazing presentation and flavor Risotto: I am obsessed. 11/10 Bacalao: so tender and perfectly cooked Brownie and ice cream: one of the best brownies I’ve had. I was so full but still ate the whole thing 😍

El callejón de Álvarez Gato es un maravilloso local que podemos encontrar en este, nuestro barrio de Ciudad Lineal. La verdad es que no había estado nunca y ha sido una experiencia completamente que te llena, no solo la tripa por la comida, también de un modo sensorial y mental. Para empezar, el local es maravilloso: la primera parte del mismo está decorado como si fuese un pub inglés, una maravilla. Este ambiente no te anticipa nada de lo que te espera en el salón (yo iba a ciegas sin haber visto nada antes) El salón es increíble, las paredes son de piedra y es super acogedor. Para mí, emula una mezcla entre una bodega antigua de pueblo con un poquito de estación de tren, también de índole antigua. El camarero es súper simpático y cercano, ayuda mucho a meterte en el ambiente del sitio y a elegir la comida que se va a ajustar mejor a tu gusto y a la cantidad que vas a comer. La carne, pedimos un steak tartar y unas milhojas de rabo de toro, estaba super tierna y deliciosa. En cuanto al pescado estaba súper fresco y de buena calidad. Pedimos unos chipirones con cus-cus al pesto. Me estalló la cabeza al verlo y después al probarlo, jamás se me hubiese imaginado cocinar el cus-cus así y la verdad es que casaba muy bien con los chipirones. También pedimos unas mini hamburguesas para probarlas, la carne se deshacía en la boca y la salsa, un poco picante, estaba deliciosa. Además, de postre pedimos un trozo de tarta de queso de cabra y era una auténtica gozada, con estos postres entiendo la expresión japonesa que dice que siempre hay que dejar un huequito para el postre. ¡Os recomiendo...
