Goiko — Restaurant in Madrid

Do you like frozen food?? Well boy I sure do! I went to Goiko with high hopes, excited to eat a frozen chicken sandwich, my favorite sweet treat. To my immediate dismay, out of the party of 9 I arrived with, only one member of the group got frozen food for lunch. I guess I should’ve ordered the chicken burger, but they didn’t make that clear to us at all. If I had one reccomendation for you all, it would be to simply grab something out of the freezer at the grocery store. Not only will you save loads of money, but the waiters won’t tease you by making you wait a hour for cooked food. Might as well just guarantee some frozen goodness by getting it straight from the freezer. My Chick Norris was warm and tasted like some Asian-sourced cardboard…BLEGH!! Don’t go here if you value your taste buds, you will probably recieve flavorless...

Today is my last day in Madrid, and I was lucky enough to come by this place. I had the Smash Burger BB Queen and the home made lemonade and they were honestly mesmerising. The burger was not too big, the bun was nice and fresh, the beef patty was perfectly cooked, as well as the bacon. The cheese was melting in my mouth and the sauce was also delicious. The lemonade was truly something out of this world, so nice and fresh, absolutely mind-boggling, leaving a slight after taste of mint which was just perfect. Really recommend this place if you are ever passing by. Also gotta mention Natalia, she provided us with great customer service and treated us with care...

I ordered a yankee burger. The waiting time was 45minutes.the burger was undercooked. It was almost completely red pinkish. The burger had black burnt pieces of something on it. The sweet potato fries were okay. The lemon tea i ordered i liked a lot. It tasted like the instant tea from my homeland. The athmosphere was okay. Without my date it would have been a very unpleasent experience. Short after i got home it came out the way it came in. I heard good things about this place. Maybe i was unlucky? But i definitely didnt enjoy...
