We had the chance to enjoy Honest Greens at Gran Vía 7 location multiple times during our stay in Madrid in the form of a takeaway order, a dinner, and a brunch and overall, the experience was lovely and consistent with what we’ve come to love from the brand.
The atmosphere is welcoming, the food philosophy remains fresh and transparent, and the variety on the menu is as vibrant and nourishing as ever. Honest Greens continues to hold a special place in our hearts for making healthy food feel exciting and flavorful.
For the takeaway we had ordered a Salmon florentine sandwich which came out perfect.
For dinner we really went overboard and ordered a variety to taste a few things out as they have so much better to offer .we ordered the Ginger honey goat salad with spicy salmon and sweet potato.
We ordered the sweet potato fries that come with aioli and delicious bettor sauce that turned out to be perfect as well.
We as well ordered the Latin Lover salad with Chimmichuri steak along with guac and ended the evening with a chocolate cake and a flat white coffee.
For brunch we ordered the salmon florentine sandwich ( too too delicious), an açaí bowl, 1 americano and another flat white and chia acai detox.
That said, there were a few small letdowns during our dinner visit:
The steak was noticeably more chewy than what we’ve had before (particularly when ordering from Honest Greens in Barcelona, where the texture was much better).
The sparkling water lacked fizz, and although we flagged this to a couple of staff members, it unfortunately wasn’t addressed.
If we remembered correctly the Latin lover salad when ordered in Barcelona came with avocado , though here since we ordered guac along with it they removed the avocado from the salad and it simply came with the guacamole.
Despite these minor hiccups, our brunch and takeaway experiences were excellent, and the overall quality and ethos of Honest Greens keep us coming back. We're still big supporters of the brand just hoping for a bit more attention to those small...

Had dinner here on New Year’s day. There was a really long queue, but most tables were empty. There was also a staff member going around taking orders from those lining up – probably to speed things up at the cashier. I was skipped. Not sure why.
When it was finally my turn, the person who was manning the counter refused to acknowledge me and just walked away without saying anything. Fine.
I moved on to the next free counter to place my order. Wanted to order the avocado as a side, but was told that it wasn’t available. The cashier rudely pointed to a sheet (that states which dishes are not available for the day). I didn’t see avocado on it, but fine. Ordered the Moroccan rice instead – yet another dish that wasn’t on the list. Was once again told – very impatiently, in fact – that it wasn’t available and to check the list.
At this point I’m not even sure if we’re looking at the same list anymore. What am I not seeing? Can I even believe what I see? Am I in an alternate reality? What’s happening?
It doesn’t stop there. I came here with the intention of having desserts, so we ordered the matcha cheesecake and chocolate whatever. There was no queue at the dessert counter, but once again I was met with hostility. The cashier was chatting with someone else when I went to order, and seemed annoyed that I had disturbed her? Huh?
The whole time there I’ve never felt more uncomfortable and unwelcomed. It doesn’t even matter that the prices here aren’t cheap – this isn’t the kind of experience any customer expects, ANYWHERE. Needless to say, I will never be back. It’s quite a shame because the food was good, and there was a wide variety of vegetarian/vegan options.
But also, don’t try the matcha cheesecake. The passion fruit sauce was way too sour, and the cheesecake itself had a weird grainy texture. I love matcha but this is...
Read moreHonestly the best dining experience of my life. So much flavour, so filling, satiating, high protein, loads of fruit and veg, and such a fun way of serving it!! The queue was long and rightly so, however if you find a table, order on the app, you can go straight to the front of the queue with ‘speedy lane’, making it the easiest food ordering I have ever done! The app is incredible, it shows you photos of every single dish, and what allergens are in it. For someone who is lactose intolerant and gluten free, this place really was a blessing because I was really blessed with SO MUCH choice that I’ve never had before, and every single thing I ate was incredible (the avocado super green bowl, the piri chicken, the lemon chicken, the salmon, the moroccan rice, and of course a dessert). My family like their meat and fortunately this place accommodated perfectly for them too. I actually came back 2 days later becaude it was so good!!! The first time I got the dessert of double chocolate cheesecake and oh my!!!! It was fantastic. Then the miso cheesecake which was SUBLIME. When I came back I got the red velvet cake and the hot turmeric and it was AMAZING.
The water taps are just incredible, I’ve never heard or seen if something like it so I would definitely recommend getting the water refill !!!
PLEASE COME TO THE UK PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE IT WOULD DO SO WELL PLSSS or I’ll just come...
