As a solo traveler, I’m always a bit nervous about dining alone, but this restaurant made me feel completely at ease. From the moment I stepped in, the staff welcomed me warmly and offered a cozy corner table where I could people-watch while enjoying my meal. The menu was a perfect size—not overwhelming but offering enough variety to please any palate. I started with the onion soup gratinée, which was bubbling hot and topped with the most delicious layer of melted cheese. The broth was rich without being heavy, and every spoonful was pure comfort. For my main, I went with the grilled salmon, served with a side of seasonal vegetables. The fish was cooked to perfection, with a crispy skin and tender, flaky flesh. The vegetables were clearly fresh and lightly seasoned, letting their natural flavors shine. The service was quick but never rushed, and I appreciated that the staff checked in just enough to make sure I was happy without making me feel watched. They even offered to take my photo when they saw me taking pictures of the food—small details that really made a difference. I finished with a crème brûlée, cracking the caramelized top to reveal a silky custard underneath. Absolutely divine. If you’re visiting Paris solo, don’t hesitate to come here. You’ll be treated just as well as any group, and you’ll leave with a full stomach...
Read moreI saw a video online about how this place has the best burger in the world, so I had to try it while I was in Madrid. Didn’t have a reservation, so left my name and phone number with them and was told it’d be about an hour. Didn’t hear from them and went back 90mins later. Same serving staff, and they were looking at me like I’d just arrived from another planet. There were a couple of empty tables, so we were seated and placed our orders.
The burger was definitely closer to rare than the medium I ordered. I had the Singular and my wife had the Johnny Drama. I’d say my burger was an average enough pub burger, while my wife’s tasted like a slightly higher end version of a Big Mac.
On the plus side, the bacon cheese fries I had were phenomenal. Unfortunately, I didn’t get to have them all, because my wife’s side never came and we shared mine.
I’m not sure if this place is living off the hype of the award it received in 2024, but you’ll find better, cheaper burgers almost anywhere in Madrid. If this is the standard they had when they won the award, then I can only assume it was given by someone who arrived here after a 10 day fast and it was the first thing they ate.
Definitely won’t be back. I’d upload pics, but I didn’t take any for fear that it helps me remember...

This place is popular and gets a lot of foot traffic, yet the staff and management seem either unable or unwilling to handle it properly. The focus appears to be entirely on delivery orders, while dine-in customers are treated as an afterthought.
Despite many empty tables in the dining area, all of them were supposedly “reserved”—not that there was any indication of this. We sat at one of these tables for 20 minutes, waiting to place an order, only to be told that the table was reserved and that no free tables were available. Meanwhile, several tables around us remained empty for at least 20 minutes—plenty of time to finish a burger and a beer.
A few simple improvements could solve this: place reservation signs on tables, greet guests at the entrance, and don’t ignore customers who are already seated. That would be a good start.
To be fair, this issue seems to be specific to this location. Their other branch doesn’t have these problems.
As for the food itself—no complaints. The burgers are great, and the prices are reasonable. Just make sure you choose the right location...
