A Delightful Culinary Journey.
To begin, the tuna tartar was a true highlight of the meal. The finely diced fresh tuna, combined with a medley of complementary flavors, created a symphony of tastes. The dish was light yet satisfying, with the rich egg yolk adding a creamy texture that enhanced the overall experience. It was expertly seasoned (something not that common nowadays) allowing the natural flavors of the tuna to shine through.
The spicy salmon uramakis were a burst of flavors and textures that left me craving more. The addition of spicy accents elevated the dish, providing a delightful kick without overpowering the delicate taste of the salmon.
Next on my gastronomic adventure was the foie nigiri, a unique twist on traditional sushi. The combination of the velvety, melt-in-your-mouth foie with the delicate and fresh sushi rice was a true delight. The dish offered a sophisticated and indulgent flavor profile that delighted both my taste buds and my inner food connoisseur.
The rib taco was a savory treat that brought together the best of Mexican cuisine and contemporary flavors. The beef was slow-cooked in a honey and Japanese bbq sauce that made it tender and succulent.
Lastly, the cheesecake was the perfect conclusion to a memorable meal. The crust was buttery and perfectly complemented the creamy cheesecake, leaving me with a lasting, indulgent impression.
Beyond the exceptional food, the restaurant's ambiance was both inviting and sophisticated. The attentive and knowledgeable staff added to the overall experience, providing excellent service throughout the evening.
In a nutshell, my experience at KAA was a culinary journey like no other; it will definitely leave a lasting impression on any...
Read moreWhat a place! I was looking for something different for dinner in Madrid when I came across Kaa. The first thing you see when you walk in is a mesmerizing terrace, with amazing lighting and very nice decorations. This is a must for upcoming spring/summer months. We sat down in the main dining room which was also very beautifully decorated. Top-picks of the menu were tuna tartar, tacos and hirosushi (a speciality unheard of in Madrid which must be tasted - highly recomended). They were all 10/10. All other items were also very tasteful and generous. Need to come back and taste them all. The waiters were all extremely candid and service was exquisite. Kaa has become my go-to-place for the Bernabeu/Viso/Chamartín area - a very much needed refreshing place!!

Read moreThis review was long time coming, as this place had been recommended to me by several friends. Expectations were therefore set high, but I was not disappointed. KAA is a culinary journey through Mexico and Japan (with some invited guests from Morocco) and it's an incredible experience for your taste buds. The sushi was avant-garde and courageous, with flavors I had never indulged in previously. The tacos were an explosion of flavors, try the indian-infussed Massala quesadilla, and get ready to have your world rocked. As if the food was not enough of a reason to stay, the service was top-notch and the ambiance was cool and detracted. I would recommended it for dates or for groups looking to splurge on a special occasion. It's a Madrid must when it comes to fusion...
