The place is really comfortable with their own personality decorated. The staff was really friendly and helpful, they explained us all the dishes and gave us perfect recommendations. They provide English and Spanish menú and you can ask any questions you might have to their staff in both languages. We ordered 5 dishes and 2 desserts. My favorite dishes are Ensalada rusa de Bacalao, Huevos Campero gallego trufada y setas and half size of lomo de vaca vieja. The rice was good, but a bit over salty for the Asian standard, but it is normal for the European standard. And my favorite dessert is Cremoso de plátano con helado de violetas. We paid around 140 euro in total, including 2 bottles of water and 3 glass of wine and Tinto de verano. Wonderful experience here, you can have Michelin level's food and service with more...
Read moreLovely restaurant with great and friendly service. We got an apperatif on the house, prawn wonton, anchovies and croquettas for appetizer and for appetizers and the pork cheek and iberian pork for mains. The food was good, I really want to stress that before I write my critique. With all the great reviews the restaurant got as well the the Bib Gourmand we were really excited to try this one. However while the food was good, we could not help but feel a little underwhelmed. Maybe it is because we had not gone with the tasting menu, we are not sure. Despite that our only real critique of the food is that one of the croquettas was still cold in the middle and the pork cheek was a little tough. Regardless the food was good, we just set our expectations too...
Read moreI don’t usually write reviews, but with a dining experience like this, it feels like a duty to report it…
Unfortunately, the meal missed the mark at every course. The starters lacked imagination, with little care in presentation and almost no attention to detail.
For the main course, we had hopes, but the experience continued to disappoint. The fries, which should have been crispy and golden, tasted as if they’d been boiled instead of fried, making them a letdown alongside an otherwise average dish.
And then came dessert. We were served a chocolate cake so dry it was almost inedible, alongside a cheesecake that, that had an bitter odd flavor. I wish that were just a metaphor.
I would recommend any one who consider dining here...
