If you are looking for something polished and touristy, look elsewhere. But if you appreciate a place frequented by locals offering a quirky neighborhood diner vibe and excellent food at reasonable prices, this is it. Service is friendly and accommodating. They were out of a few items on the menu, but offered fantastic alternatives... including some albondigas (meatballs) that were next level.amino! Fish dishes were also excellent, though be prepared to handle the full fish if getting it fried!

Super convenient to the Atocha train station; we popped in after a day trip to Toledo. We appreciated the change of pace after hitting some of the more tourist-forward tabernas in the area.

Nice people, central location next to the central station. But the food could be better. I asked specifically for the breaded chicken but I received 4 fried chicken wings. I thought initially ok let’s try this one but to be honest it was not very nice. Not much meat, more bones instead. And I could eat only 3 because 1 was full of bones, no meat at all. This was the kind of Spanish dining experience you dream of. Being from Wisconsin and only speaking English, we wanted an authentic tapas experience but were intimidated by the language barrier. Our server was so gracious and helpful- surprising us with delicious recommendations. All of the food was exceptional, our host was wonderful and he went above and beyond to create a truly wonderful evening!...
