La Parada — Restaurant in Madrid

We found this place at the beginning of our 3-week stay in Madrid by a complete accident and we kept coming back. An absolutely amazing restaurant. Menu del día - for 12€ you could get a two course meal, a dessert and something to drink. And every day it was something different. The food was delicious, I really enjoyed trying different Spanish dishes. One of the waiters was extremely friendly, remembered what we ordered to drink the second time we came in. We had a less pleasant experience with other waiters, but overall the place is so good that I won't lower my rating just because of this one day. Absolutely amazing, I fully recommend this place. If I ever come back to Madrid, I sure will...

A short walk from Hilton hotel and an excellent find! It was packed when we arrived around 3pm but thankfully there's a basement level, which was more cooling in this summer heat.
