Lingueer Saveurs d'Afrik- Restaurante Africano — Restaurant in Madrid

When discovering Linguėėr Saveurs D'afrik at the market San Fernando, this little restaurant was a nice surprise regarding taste, service and food presentation!

We ordered the Frituras de Fécula as aperitivo, the Athieke as main dish and the Pudin de Foñio as dessert. Everything was delicious, real soul food and arranged beautiful so that it was also a pleasure for the eyes!

Fatou Binetou, who is the owner, chef and heart of the restaurant, greets everybody with a warm smile and is the perfect 'ambassador' for the delicious African food she offers at Linguėėr Saveurs D'afrik.

We were missing a bit the possibility to look at a menu (written or to download via a QR code) to order easily without asking. Maybe a simple black board with a handwritten menu might be a good solution.

Very good food! We reserved for 9 and even though the tables are small, they were able to accomodate us. The food takes it time, do not thinm this is a precooked place. They take time and cook in the moment what you order and the result is really good! I ordered the Athieke with fish and it was delicious!! The grilled flavour kf the fish was espectacular. My wife wanted to try Fufu (she somehow heard or saw about it), so after a few months and right on our very last day in Madrid, I found this spot, greatly rated so I decided to bring her and surprise her. She-we LOVED it. We had two different Fufus and they were AMAZING, the service by Fatou and her children was exquisite, candid and joyful. I could not recommend this spot more.
