The painful experience of being ignored… when the food isn’t even worth it…

Hello folks today am going to save you from a bad experience if you follow my advice with this place: DONT EVEN BOTHER What a weird experience… from being ignored throughout the entire dinner to the disbelief on how poor the quality of some of the food was. We were a group of 4 and ordered a few dishes to share. I had to stand up and approach the bar tender almost on everything we needed. Even when asked for a hit more bread or to remind them of the drink we ordered, I still had to ultimately stand up approach the bar and ask directly the person behind. The star I am awarding is for the efforts made in the kitchen. I sadly can’t grant any more stars as the quality of the food was poor. One thing I have to be fair is that at least, prices were not too inflated. So I guess you get what you pay for right? Location is good yeah… so I guess that if you want to have just a drink with your friends out in the terrace you should be good. As far as having dinner here, forget it. You will be struggling to get a good service. So yeah, if you own a bar/restaurant and you’re reading this shaking your head thinking am a jerk… may be you should realice that owning a restaurant means being there all the time making sure the service and quality are up to your standards. And if you’re sick, you should let someone of trust take care of it and run it for you. But when your own staff doesn’t think too high of you then you know you have major problems. And that is translated into unsatisfied customers that will not...

I visited this restaurant several months ago with my parents and girlfriend and was quite disappointed by the service for one reason. My girlfriend who is vegan ordered a salad with guacamole and various other ingredients. There was no mention of meat or fish included in the salad. After the food arrived, she began to eat the salad and immediately said that the guacamole had a fish like taste. I tried it myself and it tasted clearly of salmon. We then asked the waiter if the guacamole contained salmon he said he didn’t know, but assumed not as there is no mention of it on the menu. To which we said it clearly tasted of salmon and perhaps he could ask the chef. Upon his return he told that that day the chef had decided to add salmon that day. He then said he would make another one without salmon, however no apology or compensation at all was offered. Which seemed a little rude considering we were spending a fair amount of money in this restaurant and they made no attempt to apologise at all. Obviously this somewhat ruined the meal for my girlfriend as she has been vegan for many years. However, being someone that works in the catering industry I know the importance of being able to know exactly what ingredients are in each dish due to allergies. Had someone who was allergic to salmon ordered the guacamole that day they would have been in serious trouble. The rest of the food was nice, but, any restaurant that serves food not knowing what is in it is somewhere to avoid...

Pongo dos estrellas porque la comida estaba bien, en calidad y cantidad. Bastante cara pero acorde a la zona. Lo que fue pésimo fue el trato. Llegamos dos parejas con 3 niños, me acerco al restaurante (la primera puerta que veo), entro y pregunto por tronas, me mandan a la puerta de al lado, la cantina. Ok. Pregunto por tronas y me dicen que si, ahí las tienen. Pido sacarlas a la terraza y me dicen que no hay mesas libres, señalo varias pero me dicen que esas no son de la cantina, son del restaurante. Les digo que nos da lo mismo sentarnos en la cantina o en el restaurante, con que nos dejen las tronas nos vale. Empiezan a tratarme como subnormal explicándome que no es lo mismo 'no ves que las mesas están puestas diferente??'... Insisto, nos da igual comer de la carta del restaurante o de la cantina, comemos de todo. Que entonces vuelva a la otra parte. Les digo que me han mandado ellos ahí cuando mencioné que quería tronas... Al final nos conseguimos sentar, las camareras con muy malas caras, fuerte sensación de que nos rebotaban de un sitio a otro, debe ser que hacerles sacar tronas les parece abusivo (eran las 13.40, no había apenas gente). Pedimos la comida y 2 tronas, las traen y empezamos a comer. Al rato decidimos pedir una trona más para el otro niño. Comentario de la camarera: 'pero vamos a ver, no eran 2? Habíais dicho 2, me estáis mareando!' Nosotros alucinando, el padre del niño 'si me dices dónde está la saco yo, te ayudo..?'. En mi vida me han soltado 'me estáis mareando' por pedir algo más a lo ya pedido, pero claro, las tronas no las cobran... Lamentable servicio, y a todo esto, gente tranquila, niños tranquilos, pocos clientes, no eran ni las 2 de la tarde... No hay excusas para ser tan desagradables. Un sitio que en principio podría gustarme mucho (carta con mucha verdura, ingredientes bien seleccionados, ambiente agradable..) definitivamente tachado...
