O´Donnell 11 — Restaurant in Madrid

I do not recommend this place. If you go you may have better luck than we did. The service was nothing short of gruff. The bartender took half our order, as in what did one of us want to drink, never mind about the other person. Same with the food, ordered 2 things, one they were apparently out of but the bartender never came back to see what different dish I might want. In the end the burger came, one beverage served and the Berger was raw. Literally. We asked for it to be cooked more and it came back 3 min later still raw. That was not the bartenders fault but she was still battle axe. We left without eating. Thankfully the bartender took the burger off the bill. A nice place situated across the street from the Puerta de O'Donnell in the north east corner of the Parque de el Retiro. You can have just coffe & drinks & desert - they offered something on the house when we ordered them - or have a full meal, inside or outside on a nice small terrace. Not a bad restaurant. But, the tables are not marked, they are under reserve... sitting there are not sitting there... For foreigners is not clear, none of the waiters did not go 15 minutes, until you yourself did not appeal. In the end had to wait until the table is free. In this respect minus the institution.
