Horchatería Alboraya — Restaurant in Madrid

I have been in a lot of coffee bars in my life but have never seen staff this rude. The server just throws stuff on the table and walks away. Service is awful and it looks like they fired the one in charge of cleaning months ago. The quality of the coffee was that bad, besides the staff being extremely rude made that I did not even want to try the ice cream anymore! I would recommend to stay away from this place while there are a lot of nice places in the area where the staff treats you like a human instead of just a number. I am super convinced this waiter hates his job and I would recommend him to work somewhere where no people are involved. Never seen a waiter this rude and I sincerely hope I will never have to experience service...

Enjoyed my horchata experience here! Outside of Valencia this is the best in my opinion. I've tried a few others and none really compared. They also have ice cream available here with horchata flavor as well. But if you're going here you should be coming here for the horchata in my opinion :)

We've never tried horchata and heard many good things about this place, so while we have no reference point, we can say we enjoyed our visit.

We had a large horchata (sweetened) and a small horchata without sugar (sin azucar) and my verdict is to order a small glass of each and decide what you prefer.
