During our recent business trip to Madrid, we had the pleasure of dining at La Vinatera Taberna, and it truly exceeded our expectations. From the moment we arrived, the atmosphere was warm and inviting, setting the stage for an unforgettable culinary experience.

One standout dish was the burrata salad which was not only absolutely delicious but beautifully presented on elegant plates. Each bite was a delightful blend of creamy and fresh flavors that left us raving about it long after the meal.

The anchovies with pepper were another highlight. They were expertly seasoned, resulting in a dish that was both simple and simply fantastic. And of course, the Iberico ham Bellota was top notch - rich in flavor and perfectly cured, it was a real treat for the palate.

What made our experience at La Vinatera Taberna even more memorable was the excellent customer service. Despite our limited Spanish, the staff was attentive and accommodating, ensuring we felt welcome and valued. Their willingness to assist us made our dining experience all the more enjoyable.

Un sitio de referencia para nosotros! Ya hemos ido unas cuantas veces, y en todas hemos triunfado. Lo encontramos hace meses por casualidad un amigo y yo para quedar en un punto intermedio entre nuestros domicilios y al final se ha quedado como nuestro lugar de referencia. Generosa terraza, lugar muy agradable para estar en la calle porque no tienen mucho tráfico en las calles adyacentes. Terraza muy arbolada para proteger del rigor veraniego. Pero antes de entrar en los productos, quiero y debo destacar, la amabilidad del servicio. Siempre vamos viernes o sábados y nos atiende el mismo camarero- todos muy amables también- pero es obligado cumplimiento destacar a Carlos- creo que se llama- siempre atento, simpático, ágil y rápido con los clientes, enhorabuena! Siempre hace agradable la estancia en este local. En esta ocasión lo único malo es que no había mis preciadas alcachofas, que siempre están muy buenas aquí, pero bueno…☹ , el próximo día llamaré para asegurarme 😊 , pero lo suplimos con varios plantos como queso muy rico y recomendable, las croquetas riquísimas!!! La carne siempre está muy buena y sabrosa. Quizá el tomate, que no estaba mal, no está al gran nivel resto, pero eso no quita para que lo pidas, aunque te recomiendo el resto de platos. EN esta ocasión invitamos a más amigas y nos juntamos cuatro, les encantó. El sitio sin duda es y seguirá siendo un referente para mi y espero que para muchos más madrileños! Y desde luego destacar la amabilidad del equipo; una razón siempre para volver y estoy seguro que cuando vuelva me seguirán tratando muy bien!!

Anoche volví a ir. Amabilidad y una terraza muy cómoda, de lo mejorcito en la zona. Juzguen el producto !

Una vez al mes, me paso por allí.

Fui el pasado Sábado y nuevamente muy agradecido. Público el pulpo que estaba delicioso y la hamburguesa. Sigo destacado las alcachofas que volvimos a comer.

A hidden gem! Very friendly service and one of the best and delicious food in Madrid. Though it might be a bit complicated with English.

Kitchen opens at 20:00, but the place is open before, so you can start with some drinks before the dinner. They have great selection of wines.

Regarding the food: croquettes were the best I've tried so far. Pork secret was a big surprise – way more better that I was expecting. And a beef entrecote was prepared just perfect.
