Hello,

I am rating this place with a bad note because as a customer we were not considered at all as a customer but as financially bankable.

It started really well with an explanation of a typical Spanish dish advised by the waiter called Anchoa.

However, during the service our dish and glass were not cleaned enough, there was some marks of food still left.

Aside of hygenic part, when we received the bill, we were surprised by the price of Anchoa 23 euros for 10 pieces of Anchoa max and slices of avocado.

We could not believe it so we looked on their board to find out where it was indicated. It was not.

The waiter noticed our behavior, which means he knew what he was doing since he brang us a snatched piece of paper (another menu) where we could see the price of our plate.

Definitely, a discomfort atmosphere was born.

This establishement lacked of full professionalism and righteoussness by advising us about this before ordering and controlling the clean of their tools.

Business is not stronger than human behavior for Humanity sense.

Si eres extranjero mejor no vengas aquí. He ido simplemente a picar y tomar algo con mi familia. Los modales de los camareros son nefastos salvo la camarera de la barra que tiene educación al dirigirse a ti y su atención es exquisita. He pedido una ración de calamares y unas patatas bravas, los calamares bien, pero las patatas por una parte estaban hechas, calientes y crujientes y por otra estaban frías y poco hechas, lógicamente reclamé, y ya digo la camarera sin ningún problema me las quiso cambiar, luego se dirige a mi uno de los camareros, con toda la prepotencia y alevosía, diciéndome que la comida ahí no se recicla y que si me traen otro plato va a ser igual que ese (frías por un lado y calientes por otro) y que si no las quiero que me lo quita de la cuenta y listo. Sin darme margen de responder, me las quita de la cuenta. Pero yo sí que quería mis patatas, anda que no hay platos difíciles como para hacer mal un plato tan básico como ese... pero bueno consigo que me traigan otras patatas y le pregunto al camarero si tiene algún problema con nosotras, porque no me parece nada normal ni las formas de decirnos las cosas ni que ni si quiera me dejen responder. Lógicamente se disculpa, pero todo esto no hubiera sido necesario, si me hubieran traído bien mi plato o si le hubieran dejado a la camarera que lo cambiase, porque encima escuchaba cómo le gritaban a ella por intentar cambiar el plato. Cosa que también deben mejorar ya que DELANTE DEL CLIENTE NO TIENEN POR QUÉ GRITARSE O PONERSE A DISCUTIR ENTRE CAMAREROS!!! Al pagar el que parecía ser el encargado con una cara de tenernos fastidio nos cobra la cuenta, ni si quiera nos dejó dividirla ni nada. En ese momento me doy cuenta de que parece que por ser extranjeras todas las que estábamos alli, ya les damos el derecho o ellos se creen con el derecho de poder tratarnos como personal de segunda. Estoy consumiendo y estoy pagando por un servicio, y si no les gusta su trabajo pueden buscarse otro, lo que no pueden hacer es tratarnos mal, levantando la voz al cliente y haciendo sentir mal a la gente. He de decir que esto ha sido un día viernes, y el bar tampoco estaba tan lleno como para que pasen este tipo de cosas. Terrible experience. Could have been great, because the food was actually good, but we ended up feeling very much cheated. When ordering the waiter recommended and convinced os to order a fish, which we later found out wasn't even on the menu, and he happened to "forget" to tell us the price, which was 15 euros more expensive than the one, we had been talking about from the menu.

Felt like a tourist trap, but found out afterwards, that they do the same thing to natives, which of course doesn't make it any better. It ruined a wonderful night for me and my overall experience of Madrid, which so far had been absolutely great. I would recommend you NOT...
