Restaurante patatín — Restaurant in Madrid

Disgusting food, service, staff and manager. We arrived and it took us over 20 minutes to be able to place an order. We had to physically seek assistance of the waiter in the terrace. After taking the order, all food came out at different times. The earliest was 20 minutes after ordering and some food never even came out.

We had to find a waiter again and we gave up. It took us another 20 minutes to get the check. When the check came, they were still charging us for the two items that didn’t came. Waited another 15 minutes. I decided to talk to the manager. To my surprise the manager said that the two plates were in the kitchen and they were charging us for them or we could wait and eat them. This is almost 2 hours after we arrived. I thought it was unbelievable. Manager was rude and confrontational, and didn’t care about anything. I decided to pay the whole bill and move on. When waiter brought the change, I was so mad that I just took the change and left.

As we are turning the street towards El Retiro, we heard someone screaming and it was the waiter running after us because they had forgotten to add a chocolate to the bill.

Unbelievable.

McDonals is cheaper and fresher than the food they serve here. This place is a trap and the manager doesn’t care about the customer at all. He knows that being across the park, it will bring him new clients anyways. If this place depended of locals, it would had been shut down years ago.

No paréis en este lugar. Insalubre y atención pésima.

Cenamos en este sitio y tras esperar bastante rato para ser atendidos nos traen la comida y una de las hamburguesas nos la entregan con el queso con moho claramente visible, de hecho parecía que se le había pegado pelusa del suelo, siento no haber hecho foto en ese momento porque no pensé cómo se iban a desarrollar los acontecimientos después y creímos que sería un descuido (grave, porque era exagerado). Se lo muestro a la camarera y su respuesta sólo es preguntarme dónde estamos sentados, va a mostrárselo al cocinero y nadie nos dice nada. Esperamos durante al menos otros 15 minutos y allí nadie se acerca a nuestra mesa, me levanto de nuevo y cuando le pregunto al camarero de la barra por la hamburguesa devuelta me responde que tienen muchas comandas. Me quejo porque si el problema ha sido suyo, espero que se vuelva a servir la comida a la mayor brevedad, me responde que si quiero cancelar, algo que le digo no puedo hacer porque es la cena de mis dos hijas pequeñas, en otra situación lo habría cancelado todo. Recibo silencio por respuesta.

Vuelvo a la mesa y tras ver que no hay ninguna intención de subsanar el problema, nos levantamos para irnos poniendo antes una hoja de reclamación. La camarera nos traía la hamburguesa y cuando nos ve levantarnos la deja en la barra y se da media vuelta sin mediar palabra.

Solicitamos la hoja de reclamaciones y nos responden que no tienen, tras recordarles que es obligatorio vuelven a responder con evasivas hasta que mencionamos la posibilidad de llamar a la policía para aclararlo. Entonces "recuerdan" que sí que tienen hoja, nos entregan una donde no rellenan los datos del local y no saben cómo proceder, ni siquiera la firman y tardan en sellarla. Conseguir que nos dieran las hojas (tampoco nos daban copia) nos llevó al menos media hora. Tiempo en el que el cocinero salió de la cocina y no nos dirigió la palabra y absolutamente ningún camarero nos pidió disculpas en ningún momento por la comida en el pésimo estado que nos la entregaron.

Creo que las cosas no se pueden hacer peor ante algo que fue un error suyo y que si hubieran intentado corregir mejor habría quedado subsanado, pero si reaccionan así ante algo que era claro, no quiero imaginar lo que deben servir cada día en este local sin que sea visto por...

Worst dining experience thus far in Madrid. It was fairly crowded (now I understand because it's across from the Retiro) and had a cheap 14 euro set menu so we didn't bother checking Google reviews. Well, we paid the price. I had better with microwave frozen food. Service was not friendly (an older gentlemen) nor did he speak English. No surprise, a couple of our order was wrong but the food so awful all around (the lamb chunks were either all fat or dry like jerky) so we didn't even bother to correct them because we'd just be trading one awful dish for another.
