This Taberna is an absolute gem. The lady running it (I wish I got her name) is so efficient and welcoming. She will recommend beer and wine and gets it right. We were there very early while she was still getting set up (7pm). We got a white wine and she recommended a local craft beer. Delicious. The menu is available in a number of languages. We had the blood sausage, Ibérico, red pepper salad, bull’s tail timbale and the Callos a la Madrileña. The waitress told me foreigners order the Callos and then find out what it is then won’t eat it. That’s their loss- it is beautiful. All the food was faultless, delicious and delivered very quickly. The chef is very good. We had a wonderful night and finished everything. Servings are generous and we were very full. Quite a few patrons arrived around 8pm. I fully recommend La Dichosa. I...

I was lucky enough to make it my first dinner spot in Madrid, and it delivered above expectations. Warm atmosphere, really nice and friendly crowd and incredible staff (the owner! who seemed to manage everything on her own with ease).

She spoke English and was able to give me the best advice when it comes to food but also had some amazing wine picks - hearing that I’m interested in natural wines, she always presented me something that I absolutely loved.

Also the food (and pinxos) are quite unique, it’s not what you have in other tabernas in Spain or even Madrid. The tomatoes I had here is something I keep dreaming about even several months later.

I’d love to be back here with friends to fully enjoy the wonderful atmosphere...

What. A. Surprise!

We went in for a quick drink during our evening dog walk and we have found this special place, managed by the loveliest lady! The space is exquisite and the menu incredible, we got two pinxos but we will de finely be back because I cannot wait to taste every single item on the menu! The dark beer was a new one I had never tried before and absolutely loved. Bonus point: the place is dog friendly and we were given a bowl of water and a couple of treats and the loveliest cuddles. Absolute great experience… with the BEST...
