A great selection of beers. The bad news: the barman on duty at the time had apparently never pulled a pint of beer in his life. The first one took a good ten minutes to arrive because he didn't angle the glass and kept getting a glassful of foam. Then the next one was heading the same way before he said that the beer in question was finished. An alternative beer was ordered. He seemed to be having trouble with that one too, apparently because he'd just started the barrel. That particular beer never materialised, mysteriously. However, the half pint from beer two was offered, perhaps as a gift to compensate for the delay and confusion? To avoid wasting it? No. It turned up in the bill at the end, as "33cl". Now, in Spain, a "pint" tends to be interpreted as half a litre, conveniently. I very much doubt that it's because they're applying the US measure and being generous. However, for the purposes of a badly-pulled half pint apparently being given away, a pint had now become 66cl, which is considerably more than the UK pint. When this was pointed out, the barman acknowledged the disparity, but appeared to think that the more generous measure was a favour to the customer. Suffice to say, I didn't...

Cervezofilos, estáis de suerte, por que este es otro de los muchos sitios en Madrid que merece la pena visitar para tomarse unas cervezas en buena compañía. Buena cervecería con años de experiencia en cervezas Belgas y alguna Alemana que otra, tienen buenas tapas y se come bien, el trato tanto de el dueño (Tomás o Thomas) y del resto del personal es cercano y familiar y el ambiente es bastante agradable. Como curiosidad y ajenos a que se sirva cada cerveza en su vaso y que la decoración del local sea acorde al producto especialidad (Cerveza Belga) nos encontramos con que podemos degustar una buena Stout en un Asta de toro, si, si, lo habéis leído bien, en un cuerno de toro, pero si con eso no queda suficientemente satisfecho nuestro ansia de cervecero curioso en busca de nuevas cosas, también se puede beber en sus raras, famosas y curiosas bombillas, además de en otros tantos vasos especiales, de diversas capacidades (3l,4l,...incluso de 10l) y que se pueden compartir con todos los amigos que vayamos a ser. Así que ya sabes si lo tuyo son las cervezas este es un sitio que no puedes dejar de visitar, te gustará. Eso sí hay que tener en cuenta, que si uno no tiene coche es un lugar algo alejado del centro de la ciudad y esta en una zona en la que no hay mucho ambiente de locales para salir de marcha y copas. A very small, but cozy family-ran business. The service was great and the staff was very welcoming and up for conversation! I visited this place with my parents and all three of us were incredibly happy with everything! I was more than happy to find a place in Madrid that’s matching my name and serving my favorite beer on draft. I feel right at home at this place and I will definitely come back here...
