I stayed in the studio. Small but well designed . The space is well crafted, lots of storage. Very clean. Kitchen has what you need to actually cook. (Except salt, which was an oversize but I got some at the corner store for a euro).|| Superb location for getting anywhere in the city by the metro. Tons of great restaurants near by. ( The tapas place on the corner is top notch - great food, good prices, and a place the locals hang out. Perfect scene to get a feel for Madrid culture. I ate there twice). Also a fruit stand next door and a little grocery store on the block. |Check in and check out are super easy. Staff was quickly responsive through whatsapp. ||The only caution- I'm pretty sensitive to smells and chemicals. The mattress is a foam mattress that bothered me for the first night. But I am very very sensitive, so I'm guessing normal folks won't notice it at all. Writing this for my other sensitives.||Very quiet with the window closed. If you open it, the Madrileños walking home at night from the bars may wake you. Blackout curtains keep it pretty dark. The heater kept it a nice cozy temp....
