I am not and never have been a fan of bullfighting. This tour and Museum, though, gives a fascinating insight into a fundamental aspect of Spanish culture. What does come as a surprise is how seriously the welfare of the bulls is taken and the attitude of the picadors, the matadors. Like a lot of people I thought that bullfighting is a bloodsport.
