If you’re looking for a masterclass in how not to run a restaurant, Bar Guerra is an absolute gem. The food and setting? Totally fine. The service? Oh, where do I begin… chaotic, rude, and impressively indifferent. It took only 25 minutes (yes, just shy of a full sitcom episode) to get a drink, and of course, it was the wrong one. A fun twist!

The table was still covered in remnants of the previous guests’ dining adventure, think of it as a rustic touch of “yesterday’s charm.” We had the pleasure of speaking to four different waiters, none of whom seemed particularly interested in actually serving us. Calling them over felt like asking them to donate a kidney, complete with eye-rolls and all.

Eventually, they told us one of the dishes wasn’t available. Cute surprise: we spotted it being served to someone else as we left. And while the drinks and food (ordered together, mind you) took over an hour to arrive, the bill? That sprinted to our table like it was competing in the 100m finals.

As someone who worked in the service industry, I’m genuinely impressed, they’ve managed to break every basic rule in under 90...

Restaurant has great atmosphere but the waiter in charge of allocating tables has terrible time management and a bad attitude. We were told by a waiter that the wait would be 30 minutes and after waiting for 45 minutes hoping to get a table, the waiter allowed 4 people to cut us in line and surprisingly put their name before us.
