BAR JEAN — Restaurant in Marbella

Very disappointed with the way I was spoken to by the chef behind the bar. Me and my partner ordered drinks and received them but a few minutes after my son wanted something to eat. It was the day of the market so it was very busy and of course the waiters where super busy serving customers so I thought it would help if I went into the restaurant and ask for them to bring me one when possible. I walked in and the chef was very angry towards me when I asked very politely for my order he told me to go sit back down and wait also throwing his arms in the air like a child. I was shocked by the way he spoke to me and as I walked away he began speaking to the waiters in the restaurant saying English people “do not have manners”. We left straight away and I will never return . Don’t go here if you want to get shouted at when you’re only trying to get attention for...

There is a great daily rotating daily menu, though they can run out if you arrive too late. Only open midday till around 4. Lovely folks, atmosphere, and of course the food is great. Prices going up a bit with smaller portions as Jean deals with inflation pressures. The waits can also be on the long side, so plan accordingly. Totally recommend the place for a great meal, which is the main thing. Jean is a nice guy and newer waitress also very welcoming. Go for tasty, home cooked food at reasonable...
