I have lived in Marbella for six years and have probably visited all the top restaurants in the area. Hands down, I can confirm that there is not even one restaurant that comes close to the quality of food that CAOS serves. You can open the menu with your eyes closed and point anywhere, and it will be the best dish you've ever had. The atmosphere is super private, and the music that was played there caught me off guard. Off the beaten path and off the typical menu items of the region, I recommend this Swedish star-chefs new restaurant. I had the revisited "hej hej, leverpastej" which I found quite fresh and funny, then the tuna with rice noodles with a lot of greenness and avoiding the much-too-often thai note; I loved the wasabi flavoured cream. I cannot understand why people criticise the portions and the prices, both are perfectly adequate to the standard of the kitchen and the service and even wines are not too pricy. Very limited menu. Situated right next to one of the main roads into Nueva Andalucia, so you hear the traffic which the DJ tried to drown in music played at a volume more appropriate in a disco than a restaurant. The restaurant is also situated one floor down from the road so you sit in a kind of basin with absolutely no view at all.
