Had a very bad experience at this establishment. I have attended Cappuccino in both Marbella and Ibiza on many occasions. The Ibiza location is always second to none, whereas the Marbella restaurant has been disappointing. My wife and I usually have a drink here as it is near our apartment and we like the setting. Wait times for service are always long. On this particular occasion we ordered drinks, I ordered a margarita and after somewhat of a long wait time it arrived. It didn’t look particularly appealing when it arrived, it had very little salt on the rim with something sitting at the bottom of the glass. It appears that some of its contents had been spilled on its route to our table. Ordinarily I would get over this, I tried the drink and it didn’t taste like a usual margarita would. It tasted quite watery and without the zesty hit of lime you would usually get from the drink. After some effort from both my wife and I we managed to summon the attention of the waiter. I explained that the cocktail lacked flavour and asked if they could add more lime. The waiter who seemed displeased at my request informed me he would bring a shot of lime juice to the table. After 15 mins had elapsed, I concluded that the lime juice would not arrive and my wife had now finished her drink. I finished the drink and we decided to leave and have another drink elsewhere. Instrad of staying for more drinks here as originally intended, we asked another waitress for the bill. The the original waiter brought down the shot of lime juice and hurriedly left our table. When our bill arrived we had been charged €1.50 for the extra lime juice. This I found to be quite unacceptable from an establishment that prides themselves on a high level of quality. The drink overall did not live up to its costly price tag as can be seen in the photo by the miserable attempt of garish provided with it. The prices of this establishment can only be justified if the service and products are up to standard. Alas, it would seem reading other patrons reviews they are not. When I queried the bill with a different waiter to the one that served us, I remarked how disappointed we were with the drink and the subsequent service we were given, only to be told it was my fault for not insisting that the drink was remade. Admittedly the cost of the lime juice was eventually taken off the bill. Luckily we found a different bar closer along the prom to Marbella called Bungalow where the service and cocktails matched their pricing. Unfortunately even though the setting and location of Cappuccino is great, this experience has left a poor impression and we...
Read moreBest Parmesan truffle fries I have had in a long time!! Wow!
I heard great things about this place… BUT the salmon sushi was way too fishy tasting and the fish didn’t seem fresh at all.
The Caesar salad with chicken was dry and I had to wash it down with water.
Waiters where friendly.
Location is amazing even at night with the sound of the waves hitting the beach.
Update: I told them the salad wasn’t good and had no taste. The waitress said she would tell the cook but nothing happened. So they got one less star. As I actually had the guts to say it in a very nice and constructive way.
Update: 28. January 2023
Been here 9 times and have tried almost all food. So the sushi is not worth it compared to other places. The pizza is okay due to the mozzarella being good. The kids burger is good because of the meat. DO NOT order other fries than the truffle parmasan fries - they are the ONLY reason to drive 25min to eat here and the view of the ocean. The omelet with parmasan and truffle you can make better yourself. It’s too dry and not moist enough. The fish and chips are super amazing!! Must try! The piña colada is amazing. The old fashioned is made by an amateur as there is still sugar at the bottom of the Glas. You need to stir it until disolved. It paints a picture of the bartender not being into the art of cocktail making even though their cocktail menu looks amazing.
The interior is super nice and beautiful vibes. I love that they have heating lamps.
But do NOT come without tasting the trufa fries.
UPDATE: January 31st 2023
This video was from a Day Where the fries with truffle and parmasan was absolutely amazing. BUT on the 31st of January at 21:30 we ordered again 4 x truffle fries - and it was absolutely BORING and dull. Dry, almost cold fries and not much truffle or Parmesan!! We drove 30min to get them again as the oldest kid goes traveling tomorrow. We told one of the waitresses. We think there are other chefs making food here - so I wish they would teach the others to make the fries oily and with enough !
BUT today we tried 3 cakes. -chocolate cake: so dry and very boring. almond cake: way to dry and tasteless compared to other places. Cheesecake: ABSOLUTELY amazing says all of us! 8/10 ⭐️.

But please fix the chef that can’t make truffle...

This place truly feels like a dream. One of the most breathtaking sunset views you can find in Marbella 🌊🕯️. I walked in with no wait time and was seated right away in a beautiful seaside setting with soft music, candlelight, and the sound of the waves.
I ordered the Toffee Latte ☕ and Banoffee Pie 🍌. The dessert was absolutely delicious — rich and creamy, with banana slices that added the perfect touch. The coffee, while more milky than I’d preferred (I asked for a stronger coffee flavor), still paired nicely with the dessert and the moment.
The team was kind and attentive 🤍, and service was smooth and welcoming.
⚠️ Note: The location on Google Maps is a bit misleading — it shows the café inside the hotel, but it’s actually located at the back, right by the water. Just walk around the hotel to reach it directly from the promenade.
Highly recommended for golden hour magic, sweet conversations, or just some peaceful time by...
