Great experience at this restaurant in Marbella which specializes in paella. We came quite early, at 20:30, and had a reservation. When we arrived, it was rather empty but it filled up over time. They have a nice garden/outside area and the inside is stylish and modern but it doesn’t feel sterile and has character. Most importantly, the food is absolutely delicious. We had the paella valenciana and were very happy with our choice. It is freshly prepared, comes in an authentic paella pan and tasted amazingly, where you can really see the attention to detail, care and quality of ingredients that go into making it. It was definitely one of the best paellas I’ve ever had. Portion sizes are huge and despite our best efforts we were not able to finish it all but they happily gave us a bag for having the rest for take-away. The service is very attentive, friendly and fast too, so no complaints whatsoever. The prices are relatively high but fair for what you get. I can only recommend this place to everyone who wants to eat authentic and delicious paella...

Ужинали. Вкусная кухня. Рекомендую тефтели в томатном соусе. Очень и очень вкусные. Также шикарная паэлья с курицей и морепродуктами, необычное сочетание, но очень вкусно. Вкусная "сангрия". Также могу рекомендовать грибы с сыром. Как по мне, были абсолютно невкусными "крокетсы" и странный салат с оливками, маринованными огурцами, свежими огурцами и т.д.. В принципе всё обслуживание понравилось. На вечер выходных нужно бронировать. Но! Необходимо сразу четко оговаривать место размещения стола. Иначе предложат неудачное расположение. Также было очень неприятно так как музыку в какой-то момент сделали настолько громкой, что невозможно было общаться. Попросили сделать потише. Сделали. Но через мгновение какой-то старый официант снова увеличил громкость. Пришлось уйти. Сложилось ощущение, что гостей вынуждают уходить после того как гости поели. Это было неприятно. Наверное в это место можно ходить только чтобы неплохо поесть. А общения нужно ходить в другие места.

Delicious "sangria". I can also recommend the mushrooms with cheese. As for me, the "croquettes" and the strange salad with olives, pickles, fresh cucumbers, etc. were absolutely tasteless. In principle, I liked all the service. You need to book for a weekend evening. But! It is necessary to immediately clearly stipulate the location of the table. Otherwise, they will offer an unfortunate location. It was also very unpleasant because at some point the music was made so loud that it was impossible to communicate. We asked to turn it down. They did. But a moment later some old waiter turned the volume up again. We had to leave. It felt like guests were forced to leave after the guests had eaten. It was unpleasant. Probably you can go to this place only to eat well. And you need to go to other places to communicate

Cenamos. Comida deliciosa. Recomiendo las albóndigas en salsa de tomate. Muy ricas. También una magnífica paella de pollo y marisco, una combinación inusual, pero muy sabrosa. La sangría deliciosa. También recomiendo los champiñones con queso. En cuanto a mí, las croquetas y la peculiar ensalada con aceitunas, pepinillos, pepinos frescos, etc., estaban absolutamente insípidas. En principio, me gustó todo el servicio. Hay que reservar para una noche de fin de semana. ¡Pero! Es necesario acordar claramente la ubicación de la mesa desde el principio. Si no, te ofrecerán una ubicación inapropiada. También fue muy desagradable porque en un momento la música estaba tan alta que era imposible comunicarse. Pedimos que la bajaran. Lo hicieron. Pero un momento después, un camarero mayor volvió a subir el volumen. Tuvimos que irnos. Parecía como si los clientes se vieran obligados a irse después de comer. Fue desagradable. Probablemente uno solo vaya a este sitio para disfrutar de una buena comida, y necesita ir a otros sitios para...

March 2023 update - We’ve been going to Paellas y Más for over (6) 9 years now - outstanding quality in the kitchen and service, noticeable attention to detail, it just never disappoints. Great ambiance, either indoor or out in the terrace. The chef-owner Javier knows both the kitchen and the business very well, he runs all aspects of the business so well that he’s been able to maintain the quality of the Paellas y Más experience at an outstanding level consistently for so many years and throughout the pandemic. Very few restaurants manage to achieve this.

This is one of the best restaurant experiences to be enjoyed in the Costa del Sol, and having travelled the world extensively for the last 25 years, it is easily in the top percentile of the best restaurant experiences globally.
