This is a great little restaurant situated just outside of the center of Marbeya behind Zara.
They have some great wines available by the glass or by the bottle all served at your table or sitting by the bar they have seating inside and outside very comfortable very very busy.
It is open from early morning for breakfast which is quite busy and then at lunchtime is very very busy with the staff bring around plates and you can take the Tapa from each plate.
You get charged by the tapas, tapas have sticks in them, depending on how many sticks you have this is the way that they find the total price of your bill, they keep a close eye on your drinks but just charge you for each stick.
This bar is always very busy in the evening they start serving the Tapa‘s from around 8 o’clock they bring plates around the new choose the tapa from each plate.
The staff here are very helpful and very friendly they always get the service very quick and food is always right next...
Read moreDecember 2024: We went back but were again disappointed as the service was appallingly slow. This place used to be great. They don't need to take reservations because they are always so busy, however this seems to have led to complacency among the staff. The original staff was so attentive and friendly but some of the new staff couldn't care less, keep you waiting and are more interested in chatting among themselves than taking care of clients. The food is also not as good as it used to be. Such a shame how this favourite of ours since more than 10 years has gone downhill. May 2023 : Downgraded review from 5 to 2. We were regulars since years. Sadly, last time, my wife had stomach cramps the next day (we thought nothing of it) BUT, after eating there last night, three of us had stomach issues... Very sad as it has been a favourite. Sept 2022 : Always great. We are regulars. More than tapas/montaditos - a cut above the rest....
Read moreAlways crowded, but you always get a table when you are patient! Just have a glass of wine while waiting to be seated! It's worth it. Glass of red wine for 2 or 3 euros, and it's a good one! Tapas are excellent, portions are very big though, everything is fresh and comes straight out of the kitchen. Huge variety, different from what you can get everywhere. You grab what you like. Fudgy Chocolate cake as desert, perfect. Service is excellent, the girls do a good job! Always nice, always smiling, they love what they do. It's nice to sit outside while the sun comes out for lunch. In the evening a little bit noisy, but still cosy. We've been here several times now, within 2 months in Andalusia, it's still the best tapas so far! No pics as we were busy enjoying food, wine and atmosphere. Special thanks...
