This is difficult place to pigeonhole, as it does great Spanish food, as well as really good Italian and Mediterranean food.

The service is superb, with attentive staff. Nothing is too much trouble. Location affords it amazing views whether sitting indoors or outdoors.

It is on the pricey side, but given the quality of food, service, and location, you cannot really grumble. It is definitely a place that should be on for your list of “Special Occasions” to go to.

Our favourite starter is Mango, Avocado, and Prawn salad. Enough for 2 to share, or you can have it as a main course.

The paella is fantastic, as they do not skimp on ingredients, which is the basic rule of any good paella. The selection of fresh fish always offers a good choice.

Our favourites dishes are the Veal with Roquefort cheese sauce, or Pork cheeks with Pedro Ximenez sauce, or try the spare ribs, which are melt-in-the-mouth but you need a big appetite (or skip the starter!).

If you fancy Italian, then Spaghetti Carbonara is an experience as they prepare it at the table.

This place has good and bad points. To start in a positive the location is great , right on the beach with a live Saxophonist. We have been here a few times and therefore feel we have been considerate with this review. The meals lack consistency. This time we were sat down but then left for 45 minutes without a drinks order never mind food. I asked twice for a drink but waited and waited. When the drinks arrived my partners drink was missing …. Again another 10 minutes. The food arrived fast but seemed rushed , my partner has had a really nice carbonara before but this time no care was taken and the bacon was basically just fat and the dish was cold upon serving which is a little dangerous with raw eggs. It seems unless you’re with a big table you can end up being ignored in this restaurant. I would suggest for the money going to Da Bruno where the service is perfect. It might not seem like a big deal but asking for things like a kids non alcoholic pineapple and coconut milk ( pina colada ) in a small glass (half portion) for a child I don’t expect to pay €10 euro for - this was reduced to €8 when I complained but still a lot for essentially juice.
