We called in for drinks after arriving in spain and taking a walk to stretch our legs. The newly opened Cuchillo caught our attention for the laid back inviting terrace area. We enquired if we were good to just stay for drinks and received the warmest welcome. My husband had a two beers and I had two glasses of cava. The cava was served from a perfectly chilled bottle of highest quality and into a beautiful glass. We sat on the terrace in the dappled sunshine and felt ourselves relax into our holiday. Laura was the most fantastic host and showed us the menu and told us all about the concept behind the restaurant. We realised that this is a restaurant with passion for its food and drinks and caters for lunch dinner and small plates all using the highest quality ingredients. We have booked a table for dinner and are excited to revisit in a few days. A real asset...
Read moreThis is probably the most sophisticated restaurant in the Cabopino marina. We had a truly fantastic meal here last night. Opted for the set menu (5-6 courses inc. amazing croquettes/ sea bass /ceviche/tarragon chicken/crème Catalan for dessert) at €39 each and it was superb and really worth the money (plus they are also happy to adapt if you don’t eat certain things like meat/octopus). The restaurant itself is very pretty and super clean and the staff were very attentive and lovely to chat with - especially the very entertaining Laura who looked after us - you owe us the shots for guessing it was dried black olive on the top!! It got a 10/10 from the foodie person in our group! Highly...
Read moreIt was a painful experience. Expensive and low quality food. we ordered a buratta at approx 20 euros and there was no piece of buratta but a mere residue of buratta on the top of 1 tomato divided in 4. Then, we ordered croquetas at 19 euros. There were 3 very average croquetas that did not worth more than 5 euros each. Not at all. The meat had a bad taste like plastic at 40 euros. The wine was disappointing. The sea bass was fine. At least, my son ate something. And the live music… what can I say… I am really sorry for the singer but he doesn’t know how to...
