Restaurante TEO — Restaurant in Marbella

I will share my personal experience with this restaurant: we’ve been twice for dinner during our trip to Spain. The food is very good, nothing special but tasty and fresh. There was a guy with glasses serving on our table, apparently very nice, professional and polite. After the second dinner in this restaurant, we wanted to leave some cash asking him to change 50 EUR, having in mind the idea to let him 10-15 EUR. Surprise surprise! We’ve got back 2 times 5 EUR! Asking him where are the rest of 40 EUR he claimed that we gave him only 10 EUR (not 50). He also told us that he didn’t have change and he was asking his neighbor, returning only 2 times 5 EUR back! Truly an excellent restaurant. We opted for the 5 course 40€ tasting menu. First - the service was amazing. Our waiter was extremely pleasant and very attentive. We never had an empty wine glass! If you do not opt for the tasting menu there are a variety of starters and main dishes on the menu to choose from. The chef is quite skilled and will surely entice your tastebuds no matter what option you choose. Our 5 course were near perfect - one (risotto dish which more accurately would have been orzo pasta) was slightly lacking seasoning but that didn’t disrupt the experience. We had a wonderful late lunch at TEO.

Service was exceptionally welcoming and nice. It was no problem to move a parasol around so we could sit outside without burning in direct sunlight.

The menu offers a well chosen set of dishes. There’s also a set menu if you want to indulge into a variety of delights.

The food is delicious. You start off with an amuse gueule which was unexpected and super yummy. I can recommend the prawns pil pil and after that any kind of fish. They know how to serve amazing seafood.

Prices are a little above average but we’ll worth the extra euro.
