Lo de Alvarito de Cabopino — Restaurant in Marbella

Today was my first time dining here under the current proprietor; I wasn't disappointed! I had a glass of the house red (a full bodied Ribera delicious enough to have a second glass!) together with two tapas dishes. The steamed mussels are served cold, half shelled, on a bed of finely chopped tomatoes and onions generously coated in a simple but flavorsome dressing. The shrimp pancakes were as tasty and satisfying as the mussels. This is a very welcoming establishment and deliciously cosy....

The owner has no idea how to manage a restaurant, very random strange people and food is not as good as it used to be. It was a great place that I used to go to often but I am afraid today was the last time...

Penosa experiencia la vivida hoy. Reservamos un miércoles por la web para cenar el viernes, porque cantaba una chica que nos gustaba mucho y cuando llegamos nos dicen que nos han avisado cancelando nuestra reserva el mismo viernes a mediodía, obviamente era mentira, ya que ese mismo día nos pidieron volver a confirmar a las 19h.

El trato de indiferencia cuando nos han dicho que ha sido cancelada la reserva ha sido bochornoso, incluso por parte del dueño. No han sido capaces de darnos una solución ni lo han intentado.

Siendo pleno agosto, nos hemos quedado sin lugar donde cenar. Menos mal que hay otros buenos lugares alrededor.
