Appeared to be the main depot on the Spanish, Mediterranean coast for bag, watch and sun glasses sellers. I only took one photo, the rest picked up in a small video. In the space of an hour i had to cast off about 10/15 bag vendors. I didn't engage with them at all, not even with eye contact, looking elsewhere, in to the distance, raising my hand as a barrier. The table next to me engaged a little, and found themselves sat with one such travelling sales man for at least an hour, doing his upmost to sell fake watches and sun glasses for €40 +. "You can ask anyone all over this country about the amazing quality." The pushed upon person simply trying to enjoy their beer kept repeating, "but I can tell it's plastic" "No, no, no - this is real alligator, which you don't get in your country, so you won't know," "but we definitely get plastic in my country, which is what this is!!' The beach itself would have been ok, so long as the bag sellers, and similar, were somewhere else.

Beautiful beach located nearby to Marbella. At first we thought the parking was going to be a complete nightmare but head straight to the marina parking which is actually quite reasonably priced - €15 ish got the day. From here you can walk straight onto the beach and enjoy sun Loungers for €5 each. Highlights were the singing cake seller and loads of Costa del Crime types which are brilliant people watching fodder. You’ll also be in for loads of fake sunglasses and trackie bottoms from the endless stream of beach vendors. Minus 2 stars for sand being too hot and non stop chav vendors.

Nice little sandy beach. There is a bar and restaurant, selling delicious fish cooked on open fire. The staff are very lively and friendly. Since it is a small stretch it does get crowded. The sea seems levelled to a decent depth for a long stretch so it's safe. Parking is free along the little road leading to the beach but one will struggle to find free space. There is however a parking lot with voluntary donation for 24 hours but kind of expect at least €2 to €3. Over all it is a good place to enjoy in the sun ☀️

I lived in Spain for several years, just outside Cabopino. But it was one of my most favourite places to go. I think it was 1998 and 2003? 2 of the hottest summers in a long time. I actually worked on the paragliding boat for time. I worked 3 of the restaurants. I can't remember the name of it, but it was the most pretentious place on the Dock. Named after the owner who used to mince about the place like he was actually important! I worked the morning kitchen prep, and on an evening ii did the bar. That left about 4 hours for sleep. After my first week of doing almost 100 hours and getting my pay of about £90, I think it's safe to say I didn't go back again. Other than that. I've nothing but great memories. Like the cast of El Dorardo, some of whom still live down there expecting people to recognise them! The only reason I knew was because my mate nudged me and said "that's the El Dorado lot. They hang about thinking they're going to be recognised... they're not!" Sure enough, over the years they'd pop up at events, nobody would know them. 🤣 Cabapino is awesome. Just up the road from Marbella. I will go...

Very nice natural and beautiful beach. Sands are clean, no litter anywhere.

During holiday season, it can get rather busy. Even as early as 10am, then throughout the day. So, prepare for that.

But regardless, it's worth the visit. With it being so busy, parking can be an issue too. As the local one for the beach is always full.

So what most people do, is park on the side of the roads nearby. Which we had to do. Adds a short walk to your journey, but, its worth it when you arrive.

When you arrive, you'll find there's a long row of rocks that go out into the sea. It kind of splits the beach into two. On the right side, the sea tends to be calmer. On the left side, the waves seem much bigger and more often for some reason. So, pick which side you prefer,...
