A Review of Soul Restaurant in San Pedro I've been to Soul Restaurant in San Pedro on several occasions, mostly because of its convenient location near where I play sports. I had high hopes for this place after seeing its social media posts, which gave it a trendy, "California vibe." Unfortunately, my experience has been a consistent and significant disappointment, making it one of the biggest letdowns I've had in Spain. The food is a major point of inconsistency. It's never been great, and I've had to send dishes back multiple times. The quality is simply not what you'd expect, especially for the prices. Beyond the food, the overall atmosphere and service are a huge letdown. The music is often played at an uncomfortably loud volume, making it impossible to work or have a quiet meal. The best seats in the restaurant are almost always closed off and reserved for a sports club's personnel, even when they're not using them, which is a bizarre and frustrating policy. The service, in particular, has been consistently poor. The staff often has an unwelcoming attitude, and the entire experience feels overpriced for the lack of quality and respect shown to paying customers. It's a shame because this restaurant has the potential to be a gem. Its location is fantastic, but it's clear there's a serious management problem. While it might be an okay spot to grab a drink with friends after a paddle match, it completely misses the mark for anyone looking for a quality place to eat, drink, or work. Ordered food here 2 days in a row and it took over 1 hour to come I had to ask 2-3 times where my food was as I was in a rush for a business meeting. Eventually food came and it was the wrong food instead of getting prawns they gave me TOFU which I didn’t order. The Staff member forgot to submit the order that’s the excuse I got. I was told I would get a free dessert the first time it happened instead they charged me for TOFU which was €8 instead of charging me for prawns which was €10 even though I didn’t order TOFU they still had the ignorance to charge me for it. The second time they took over 1 hour they eventually brought the correct food and told me they would bring me a free coffee which didn’t come.

The fact this happened 2 days in a row is very bad service. I’m not concerned about the cost but after being late for meetings and my work interrupted I will have to take this further. Normally everytime I come here food & service is 100% but this week it was a disaster.

We recently dined at Soul, expecting a high- quality experience, but what we received was incredibly disappointing. The service was unacceptable from start to finish. We ordered five starters and four mains, yet after a 45minute wait, two mains were brought out first, followed by a third, which was incorrect. Despite raising the issue multiple times, the staff seemed indifferent and unresponsive. By the time the last main arrived, the rest of us had already finished our meals also noticing that they were missing elements that were shown in the description on the menu, and only then did three of the starters arrive, with one dish completely forgotten.

While the food itself was good, the service was abysmal and tarnished the entire evening. For a restaurant of this quality, this is simply unacceptable.
