Visited Block House with the family and had high hopes based on the look and feel of the place—it seemed like it would be a great spot for a relaxed meal. The food overall wasn’t bad, but unfortunately, my experience was let down by a poorly cooked steak. I ordered a bone-in steak medium, but it came out blue. Mistakes happen, and I’m not one to complain over small errors, as we’re all human.
What really disappointed me, though, was the lack of care from the staff. There was no acknowledgment or effort to put things right, which made the experience feel a bit indifferent. We ended the evening with a full bill and a sense that the service didn’t match the potential of the restaurant.

Os cuento nuestra experiencia: Después de una hora de espera, preguntamos si faltaba mucho, la camarera nos contesta que el tiempo de espera es de entre 45 y 60 minutos los domingos y como hemos pedido entrantes (8 aros de cebolla para 4), el tiempo de espera se reinicia y aún nos quedan muchas mesas por delante. A los 2 minutos, nos dicen que ya vienen nuestros platos. Entiendo que haya tiempo de espera, pero no me parece forma de responder cuando preguntamos con educación, llevamos ya una hora esperando y tenemos niños, por lo menos, nos podrían haber contestado de otra manera o traer el menú infantil.

I'll tell you about our experience: After an hour of waiting, we asked if there was much left, the waitress told us that the waiting time is between 45 and 60 minutes on Sundays and since we ordered starters (8 onion rings for 4), the Waiting time restarts and we still have many tables ahead of us. I understand that there is a waiting time, but it doesn't seem like a way to respond when we ask politely, we've been waiting for an hour and we have children, at the very least, they could have answered us differently or brought the children's menu.

spare ribs with French fries. The ribs were yummy except for some parts that felt like bone splinters. The fries excellent.
Be warned the ribs really splatter when you bite into it. Bibs should be supplied.
Eating out we really had to catch the attention of the staff or go inside to ask for a new glass coz the one I got was broken. My husband had to ask for the bill twice and went in to pay coz nobody was coming out.
